Oh I love this show!! Dr Now is so straight talking.. he makes so much sense, 1200 calories a day, high protein no snacking.. love him.

Me too from 2003..and the top I wore.. neither will fit until I’ve lost another 2 stone, but at least I know the size I was when I met him 😉

After losing 25lbs, it doesn’t show and my knees aren’t feeling much better, but my balance has improved, I used to stumble slightly like I was tripping over my own feet, haven’t done it for a few weeks 👌.

Total admiration for you. My day 1 is tomorrow, although I stopped with the crisps, chocolate, biscuits & booze 2 days ago as I’d had enough. Going to do some meal planning today write myself a quick note. Good luck to you all, stay focused. Xx

Massive congratulations. I totally understand how you lost all self respect, but I think that some of us need to be at our lowest before we help ourselves. How are your knees?? I’m obsessed with knees? Mine are agony, slowly getting better in sure, but I’d like to think that I haven’t totally messed them up!

I can’t wait for my knees to not hurt, currently refusing to take anti inflammatory tablets as they are keeping me focused.. taking it 5lb at a time and counting every morsel

I can speak for myself after 32 lost of 100 or so goal...my knees are stiff and hurt when i first get up from sleeping or sitting, but it only lasts a couple of minutes and my legs are stronger overall. How are your knees with the weight loss? I started (again) at 279 this week and my knees are keeping me focused as they are under so much pressure, that I’m in agony.. has the weight loss made a big difference?

Plan your days in advance, don’t go over calories and celebrate every 1lb lost.. that’s all in doing and all I feel like doing at the moment. Hopefully once I shift a bit of weight, I will regain some energy, but at the moment I’m focusing heavily on planning a day in advance. Challenge yourself to stick to your shopping…

I’m a huge fan of granulated sweetener and I make myself a very large milky and extra sweet coffee which generally makes me feel gross!! Or brush your teeth earlier in the evening signalling ‘ I’m done ‘ xx good luck

Thank you. I feel a bit useless I guess, as I have the gym sat there for the taking and used 2 or 3 cardio machines the last time I had membership. I'm not after muscles, just weight loss. Today is January 1st.. this time last year I was 15lbs heavier. To do that again would be awesome, but just to get through today, then tomorrow, then the next day being careful with my calories and true to myself..
