I'm an artificial sweetener girl too, I make a big milky mug at the children's tea time else I'd pick over their left overs. It just takes the edge off of hunger for me. Good luck X

After going on a 6 mile walk, generally only once a week I'm ravenous by the time I walk in the door. I've usually planned my lunch which I gobble down then I start raiding the cupboards. I find myself ordering a chicken nugget happy meal nowadays and a hamburger with a Diet Coke. It's the same as what my kids eat. I could stuff in sooo much more as they are so yummy but after 10 minutes, like you it's enough to satisfy.. Well done x

I think that life will become a lot more fun for you as you drop the weight. As we have gotten larger, food has become a front runner, everything revolves around food. You can still have this but be mindful of what you are eating. Eat to live don't live to eat. Good luck.

Desperately trying to get under 250lbs.. Been the same weight for at least 12 weeks as I've occasionally been a little less than honest with mfp. Challenging myself to stay within calories at the most difficult time of the year, school holidays.

She probably doesn't know her head from her tail!! I save a vacant look for people like this and would usually say something like 'I'm glad I don't have to listen to you everyday because your positivity would be crippling!!

Pre plan what you are going to eat the day before and stick with it. Leave yourself a few calories for a treat in the evening.

Me again.. How about just trying to do some simple stretching exercises?? I've been doing 30 day shred by Jillian Micheals, but as I'm 18st it was killing my knees, so I'm just doing the strength exercises rather than the cardio until I lose another 7lb then I will try again but just gently. Absolutely no point in hurting…

I think self loathing is the start of this journey for many of us. Just take one day at a time and don't think you've fallen off the wagon and give up altogether just because you went over calories on a single day.. Good luck to you, head down and just crack on!!

Jillian Micheals DVD.. She'll put you through your paces in the comfort of your own home. It's in 20 minute sets. It's not easy but take it at your own pace. I struggle with painful knees so I'm taking it at my own pace, but that's what mfp is all about for me. Good luck. X

I have many friends who I'd love to be able to help in different ways, but until they show ultimate strength as you have, I feel useless.. Ask people for help, there are nice people in this world who will be only to glad to help you in your hour of need. Xx

I weigh every morning, roughly the same time after using the bathroom. Then I text my diet friend with my weight, she texts me hers and we have a little motivational text chat at 6.30 am.. If I didn't have this support I think of stopped weighing so frequently and gotten a little slack..

I've just completed day 1 of Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. I'm already dreading tomorrow. Had to stop a couple of times but towing 18stone around can be restricting.. Go me!!!

I'm in a mega slump;(.. I feel like I've got a stinking cold coming and so I just want to eat. I can't talk myself into a happy mood or focus on food. I'm still logging, just very badly. My hubby is on lanzoprozole as he'd had terrible reflux since aged 15. Turns out he has a small hernia. He can stay on the tablets or have an operation. You really should go to the Dr's to rule this out, but weight loss has helped me to lose the reflux.
