Hiya Hun, my heart goes out to you.. My mum died almost 20 years ago, I had just turned 23. It's a time of unbearable pain and sometimes you don't know how you will get through. My Dad is and was a rock and I will never forget his words ' I'd give my right arm to have her back love, but it's not going to happen, so get on…

How about we are all the same height really!!! Just as funny lol!!
-
I have a large frame too. Big hands and feet are a simple sign!!
-
Because I've never lifted anything and I don't know where to start!
-
I can't understand why anyone would pay money to diet when you have this amazing app for free ;)
-
Ah!! But what would you of weighed on your new scale to begin with

From my experience, 280lbs on 28th December, currently 267, exercise at a big weight is painful, embarrassing and blooming hard work, I walk only twice a week because I find it hard to get motivated. Dragging that extra weight up the stairs is difficult, so going to the gym for me is out of the question.. But, stick with…

Weight watchers, slimming world!! Give me your money and I'll tell you what you can't eat arghhh.. It's money for old rope. Just get into the plan, then they change the bloody plan!!! More arghhh!!! Calories, plain and simple calories. Ok.. Finished now

I've used artificial sweetener in my hot drinks and on my cereals for years. I can't honestly say that I crave sweet stuff. I use the product to help me, if I feel I need to get through the next hour before dinner time, I have a large milky coffee with sweetner. It's all personal preference, this works well for me xx

Hi, if it were me, I would have a bar of chocolate, but make it the most delicious one that you can imagine. In the past if I've craved dark chocolate but haven't got any in the house, I would start to eat the kids lunch box treats, nope that didn't hit the spot, so start eating the hot chocolate from the tub, and nope…

I would think that muesli bars would be a great 'go to' snack.. Especially as you can very easily count in the calories.

Congratulations, I too have lost exactly 1 stone since 28th December. I'm 5'11" and currently 270lbs. I don't look even a little bit different, with or without clothes but I've been here before and didn't expect too. The number on the scales is what gets me out of bed on the mornings, I weigh every day and that's personal…

Just a thought from someone who has a long way to go, but have you considered that your mind has already lost those 5lb but your body still needs to catch up. Has your mind already started to focus on maintenance.. Good luck x
-
Say oooh this is delicious!! Can I have the recipe ;))
-
Exactly this ^^.. Save your money each week in a jar for the new clothes you are going to need;)

I've moved my 3 'left over from Christmas' 1litre bottles of baileys into our spare bedroom to keep them out of sight. I checked the dates, so maybe next Christmas I can enjoy some. For me once it's opened, it's fair game !!

I make myself 2 big mugs of tea and add canderel to make them really sweet. If I still craved after them, I would probably eat something extra sweet like a tea spoon of jam!! If I start a chocolate bar i have to finish it, so jam is a quick fix 'go to' for me . Good luck X

I'm relatively new, so feel free to take my advice with a pinch of salt, however I don't see any drinks listed. When I get the feeling that my tummy will never be satisfied, I have learned that I could eat 6,000 calories and probably still keep going so I start drinking. I drink the kids sugar free squash because water…

Thank you, if that says grilled sandwiches, I'd be in heaven!! (Literally) cholesterol overload ;)

Thank you

What is jack in the box?? From uk so apologies for my ignorance but I'm curious xx

I've sabotaged my healthy eating for the last 2 days, partly due to waiting to long for my evening meal, and mainly feeling fed up and eating through my emotions. I've broke the habit before it became a habit I couldn't break. I want this more than a nutrigrain bar. As of today, I'm back to being sensible ;)

I couldn't get the 'nack' of slimming world. As a person who has been overweight since I was in single digits, I couldn't understand why I could eat as much of some foods as I wanted. I've never known when I'm full up, it's pretty much when the button of my jeans needs to be undone!! Eat as much pasta as I wanted? I…

I swim or walk in the mornings, and by the time I get home around 11am my tummy is groaning. I have set myself a small routine for entering the house. First click the kettle on, tidy the kitchen or empty the dish washer whilst it boils, then make myself a coffee with sweetener, then take it upstairs and drink it whilst I…

Ouch ouch ouch! Had it and omg I felt sick from the pain, therefore my sympathies go out to you. Avoid flat shoes, flip flops and dolly shoes are bad, as for exercise, I was advised to stand on the bottom stair and try to drop your heels. X

I have cravings, and if my mind wants it, my body is going to move heaven and earth to get it;) with that said, I'm mindful of what I'm eating, and if I know I've gone over my calories for the day, I take a minute to look back through my week and realise that I generally have about 200 uneaten calories a day. I don't fret…
-
You obviously haven't given up, your half way there already. Stay motivated Hun, it's not an easy journey, slow and steady xx
-
I bounce down the scales, it's never an easy ride, I just think my body is trying to resist, it will have to give in somewhen because my mind is set!!
-
Google some low calorie recipes and try to cook them! If hubby dosnt like them, let him cook his own, he's an adult! If you give up you'll be like kicking yourself in 4 weeks knowing that if you'd stuck with it, you could of lost 8lbs!!!! Give up? you will probably be +8lbs in a few weeks.. Keep going, I dare you ;)

Bio oil is meant to be fab, but I've always had them pregnant or just fat. The redness will fade nicely into silvery stripes. X
