Good luck - it can work for you and is a good program. I'm doing Hanson program and loving it myself. Main thing is committing to plan and really sticking to it .

Agree 603reader - not everyone is destroying their knees running - everyone has diff body mechanics & build. Biking works the hell out of my thighs and I can also feel knees and back if I solely road bike - it's all about balancing with some weights and strength - which again. Removing high amounts of sugar came for my through limiting the other chemicals which aid in same cravings - fats (I refer to added oils, bc nuts and veggie sources are ok) and sodium. Agree - clean eating is a lifestyle - avoid junk and processed anything but can't live like a monk either. There are varying degrees of clean eating . Mine includes lots of simple foods, very low sodium and sugars and healthy balances. I feel better when i eat this way - I am new to the group and hope to make some friends…
