  • Hi @auvan0876 ! I've been using Leslie's videos for quite a few years and have gotten a nice library built up. Because you don't have very many dvds already, you might want to check into her APP. From what I've read, it gives you a monthly plan and you can skip through workouts as you want. It's $4.99/month or $49.99/year.…
  • Since my motivation would come and go, I kept working on my step goal until it became a habit. Now I get it in without really thinking much about it. There are now very few times I don't reach my goal, but when it happens (because life happens), I just move on and get back to it the next day. When it's cold out, I'll pull…
  • Hi :) You will definitely save money by meal prepping. What you don't spend on take out options, you can put back into buying healthy things at the grocery store. And, once you get the hang of it, meal prep becomes second nature to you. You can do searches for quick and healthy breakfast and lunch options and find lots of…
  • Thank you for sharing. I really needed this today. :)
  • My husband is an OTR driver too and is in the same boat you are. Like the others have suggested, he's been trying to make better choices at the truck stops, portion control packing/cooking food in between runs, and is trying to exercise along with drinking a lot more water. When he's home, he packs bananas, apples,…

  • I should have said this too in my other post. Please do check out all the ones htim recommended. There are so many videos that show bad form. Read through some of the comment sections as well for feedback. Also, if interested in the swing, do a search on Tracy Reifkind. She is one of the best at teaching form. The success…
  • I love my bells and walk daily too. The exercise I do most is the kettle bell swing. It's a great overall body workout that gets your heart rate up and builds strength in a hurry. It's best if you can work with a trainer who can show you proper form to avoid injury. If a trainer's out (my case because of no extra $$), then…
  • LOL..so true! I live in west/central PA. So happy to see so many PA folks on here.

  • I would agree to let your hands rest a day or so until they don't hurt or look like they'll bleed. Another cheap fix that I learned about from Tracy Reifkind is to cut the top off of a pair of socks and use that as a way to protect your hands (I used a pair of old crew socks). You can cut them as long as you want and can…
