  • I was at 235 Lbs in Jan 2015 but I've lost 65 Lbs since then by using a Low Carb (high protein and fat -- healthy fats) and exercising regularly. By exercise I started walking just a couple miles EVERY day and kept increasing the pace, duration so that today I jog/walk 7-10 miles almost every day. Follow this kind of…

I use MyFitnessPal and Runkeeper as apps to record my…
  • Congratulations!! Today I broke through a plateau that I've been on for about 10 days and I'm now down 41 Lbs this year (MFP says only 33.5 because I lost a few before starting using MFP). Keep up the great work.
  • I use RunKeeper on my iPhone. MyFitnessPal can be setup to pull running or exercises you use in RunKeeper to populate your MyFitnessPal Exercise Log. RunKeeper is a free app.
  • It's definitely possible and I'm 64. I made a commitment to using MyFitnessPal in the beginning of January and I'm already down 18 Lbs. My primary exercise routine is an elliptical trainer or walking 18 holes of golf. Feel free to add me for mutual support and encouragement.
