  • I am working on the same exact thing and have been for the last year. It's the hardest weight I ever had to lose. Good luck. Feel free to add me :)
  • I really think it depends on the person and their metabolism. I think their activity level outside of the workout time plays a factor too. I'm one of the few that does not do well eating back the exercise calories. I have a desk job so I sit from 7-4. I workout for about 45 min a day 5-6 days a week. When I eat back my…
  • If you are actually hungry then don't ignore it and eat a piece of fruit or something, homemade lowfat popcorn, or even a piece of bread with peanut butter. Allow yourself 1 evening/night time snack of 100-150 calories. Or chew gum or suck on a piece of regular or sugar free hard candy. That helps me alot
  • for home workout, I def recommend Beach Body's Les Mills Pump. It comes with weights and the bar and focuses on some upper body stuff but lots of squats and lunges. It's awesome and has great music.
  • Tacos. I always mix 1 can of no salt added black beans with 1 lb of meat or you could replace the beef with the black beans entirely. Bean burritos-mash pinto beans or black beans in non stick pan, no oil added. Salad with garbonzo or kidney beans added. Scrambled eggs black or pinto beans drained and mixed in. Black bean…
  • Thanks for the info :)
  • Ha! That sounds awful. I'm getting info from people here at work too about it and there was a guy that said the same thing. That seems to the one consistent thing I am getting back from people.
  • I should have noted that it isn't for me. I'm doing some research and wanting some real experiences for my paper.
  • How long have you been up 2.5lb? It could just be fluctation. If you are up that much consistently for a week or 2, then i would consider it a true gain but if it's just a day or a few days, it could be water weight.
  • You will probably get a lot of different opinions on this. I personally don't think so. I mean, if you aren't hungry when dinner time comes around...then why force yourself to eat?? I would say it is only bad if you are ignoring your body signals. If you had a big lunch, and find yourself hungry for dinner, dont skip…
  • It's not that I 'must'. It's just my goal. I booked my first time ever photoshoot, so ideally I would like to be as close to my goal as possible. I'd even be happy with 6-8 pounds by then. I want to feel and look a bit trimmer for the attire that I will be wearing.
  • Thanks for the input everyone. I think I will keep logging and eat back partial. Lgutches, MFP had be at 1200. Somedays I am okay with that, but sometimes it's hard to stay that low. I bumped it up to 1300. I'm sure some will disagree with this but alot of the times, I don't count calories that come some veggies so my food…
  • Is it coming from added sugar? Or foods that naturally have sugar?
  • I do HIIT for 20 min followed by moderate to heavy lifting for another 20 min, making sure my HR stays up during lifting, 4 days a week and then 1 day of 30-40 min cardio only. When lifting i focus on 1 muscle group each time (shoulders, arms, lower body, and back). Not sure what you goal is, but my goal is to be…
  • I felt the same way about lifting weights for the longest time. I hated it. and I mean HATED! however, my best friend is like 5'2 and 100lbs and she lifts 4 days a week (concentrating on 1 muscle group each day) and cardio 5 days a week. She always starts lifting days with a high intensity run for 10 min and then lifts for…
  • I'm looking for support as well! Lets work together
  • 10 pounds in my goal! I am currently working on having it off by April 1. I am 5'5 and weigh 163. I have a 1 1/2 year old daughter and that is when I gained alot of weight and still working on getting it all off. Before pregnancy I weighed 148lbs and was a curvy and fit size 7. I want to be back at that. I have already…
