I get that some times too, just try to get over 1000 , even if those extra calories to get to 1000 are from a drink or a sweet.... :)

i am so unregular with the gym, i do about 20-30 mins of cardio (bike or cross trainer) 3 or 4 times a week... yet i am loosing soo much weight, regularly and consistently !!!

Tell your husband, if he wants to have a cranky wife then to carry on telling you that. Having no sugar and little carbs is insane! Just keep a calorie deficit and youre all good!!!
