Best of luck! I'm in a similar boat but started a little earlier. I've lost 4 lbs so far just by going to the gym 1st thing in the morning before breakfast, counting calories, avoiding carbs, ect. Keep it up!

I hear ya, getting motivated is the hardest part somedays. I was feeling pretty down and was even seeing a therapist (virtually) to help with my anxiety and depression. Start small with walks around the neighborhood and if you're back in the gym try and go in the morning if you can. A lot less people and you start your day…

Stress reliever & almost consider it as meditation... My mind just shuts off to everyone and everything that bothers me about my career, friends, family and when you leave exhausted and feel sore the next day you know no one helped you but you.

I had a friend switch from tobacco to vape and he abused the he'll out of the fact he could smoke any time and developed a really nasty infection so don't be like him (an idiot) and overdue it lol

Melatonin never worked for me. I use Zquil but I'm in a similar boat. Both are supposed to be non-habit forming but I've become dependent on it. As long as you're not exceeding the recommended dose I don't see any issue but it's not a bed idea to try and ween off it.

Do you like protein shakes? Kaged Muscle has a casine protein you're supposed to take before bed as it takes your body hours to completely break down and absorb the nutrients. It's actually really tasty also.
