Feel free to take a look at my Instagram (incrediblemulk77), I post photos of all of my meal preps (I've prepped weekly for about 18 months now). Also, if you would like to add me on here as well, I keep an open diary and you can take a look at what I'm eating as well.

Active calories don't sync. If you record an exercise with your Apple Watch that will sync.

I prep breakfasts and lunches for me, my kids and my wife on Sundays as well as plan out dinners for the week. I like having the breakfasts and lunches ready to go...but we all prefer our dinners cooked the day of. What I've found is, overtime, we've all adopted a cleaner eating regime. It was gradual. For breakfasts we…

Eileen_S, what workout are you using to track your weightlifting on your Apple Watch? I track my weightlifting sessions using the "Other" workout setting and it is right in-line with what my Polar says. When I run (say 60 min at 6.0) the Apple Watch puts me around 900 cals burned and MFP wants to give me 1800! Our bodies…

Coppell, TX here!

I have found the exact opposite of Elleen_S...Apple Watch calories burned for me are FAR less than what MFP will tell me. I tend to believe the Apple Watch more than MFP.
-
Mine is connected, and MFP had to ask "permission" through the apps section of MFP. You then tell it what you want it to add to the Apple Health application and you should be good to go!

I have been using the Apple Watch since June...primarily for fitness tracking. Prior to that I used a Fitbit Charge HR and prior to the Charge HR used a Polar with a HR strap. My experience with the HR monitor that is built-in has been good. I have not had issues, as mentioned above, with it being "bad" or being…

HILARIOUS!

Loved OTF! I tried a class 2 weeks ago and I plan on joining this week. I already workout daily and plan on adding it as an extra workout a couple of times a week. I was most surprised at how challenging it was for me. It made me realize that I still had barriers to break and showed me different ways of doing the same…

Father of two boys...very proud. Sending request.

Not as worried about the number...want to see fat go away and improve general health. I'm going to try and add in some squats next week and see what my knees do...I'm hoping they hold up alright. In the past, I pay the price for squats with knee issues for a day or two. I miss cycling! I have a decent bike and used to ride…

You all are AWESOME! Thank you! I'm going shopping in the AM and will certainly prep many of these ideas for next week! The Thermos has been ordered as well. The one downside is nothing can have peanut in it...it's a peanut free school, which is rough because they both LOVE peanut butter.

I'm also a daily logger...feel free to add me as well!

Congrats!! That was a HUGE day for me too! Who cares about speed?!?! It will come! I just did my first two miles without stopping week before last...it was just as exciting! Keep going!

I drink (probably too) regularly and have had no problem. I count the calories and move on. I do see some temporary water retention if I have a particularly good time, but it's gone in a day or two. Cheers!

thanks for the feedback and affirmation guys! I struggle with legs/squats due to knee pain (admittedly exasperated by the running) from ACL reconstruction 10 plus years ago. I tend to avoid squats and such. My legs are most definitely neglected.

Sounds like we are brothers on the same trek! Sending request!

Hi Steve, I've been using the Apple Watch with MFP since June. The app on the watch has been a disappointment so far, but the integration of exercise tracking has been fairly flawless. Occasionally, I'll get a double update to my exercise log which is annoying. I love your idea for a MFP complication...but I'm fairly…

I haven't tried it yet either...I haven't seen it locally like the regular PB2...guess I should order it!

Sending request!

I, too have a peanut butter problem...:) A friend of mine on here recommended PB2 (Powdered Peanut Butter)...you add a little water to it and viola! A 2 TBS serving is 45 calories vs. 250 and honestly...it covers my craving.

Mid-way through a 100lbs loss...50 gone. I log daily and share my diary. Anyone can add!
-
I log daily as well and love to provide and receive motivation! Feel free to add!

I can do alright with a Chipotle burrito bowl (I help them regulate the portions as they are dishing it) and I love sushi and can always maintain a reasonable calorie count with that. Best of luck!
