That once you are seasoned on MFP you wish there was a friend request filter for ppl at it less than a month. They all add me and go red soon after

Coffee. If I eat breakfast I'm starving all day for whatever reason

The point of IF is not to lose weight faster. If you eat no calories 2 days a week you need to consume those calories between the other 5 days to stay on plan. If this doesn't sound pleasant to you 5:2 may not work (especially with zero cals). You could still do 5:2 but just do lower cals on the two days and have less…

I have officially moved down from obesity class 3 to obesity class 2! Here I come class 1!!!

Around 40. But I started very heavy.

I can meet this if I really try on 1200 cals. My go tos are: Chicken & Tuna for low cal, high protein Snacks: cottage cheese, green yogurt. (Both About 12g protein/100 cals depending what you buy) Premier Protein Shakes have 30g P and 160 cals. Just a few ideas.

Eat what you like. Keep it sustainable. Meet your goals. Be happy.

Man, I've only been at this for 6 months or so and the idea of NOT logging is just weird to me now. :| The only part that sucks is I want to ditch the smart phone but ya, I'm not logging everything on the desktop.

Also I'm guessing it'll really help my chronic back pain.

I was physically very uncomfortable and it was majorly taking a toll on my energy and mental health. And I realized I couldn't be the mom and wife I wanted to be at that weight because I was too tired and sad. I don't want to die at a young age and I want to lead by example for my children. Bottom line, I'm doing this for…

Seeing a one pound loss on the scale. My children playing together.

I have also been keeping it to myself. I'm fact I just told my husband a few weeks ago I was resolving to not speak to people about it anymore because the conversations aren't pleasant at all after you lose more than a good 30 pounds ;)

I know I can choose my foods all over again tomorrow.....so for today, I've had enough.

I understand why you're frustrated but like others said I think we just end up more sensitive to people's unhelpful suggestions when we are being conscious of our health. We can't exactly expect them to overhaul their lifestyle to suit us either.

Well, I definitely don't like enough people to attend 10 parties, so that helps. Halloween won't be an issue. I can fit in a piece of candy or two if I really want to. The choice is mine. Thanksgiving I plan on having a really light lunch (or none at all) and indulging. I'll probably trim my intake by 100 cals a day for a…

That people in your life you'd expect to be supportive may only offer temporary support until they realize you're serious this time & making serious progress towards your goals or that they may not be supportive at all. It surprised me how uncomfortable the 60 pounds I've lost so far has seemed to make overweight friends &…

I food prepped & prelogged two lunches this week. I didn't realize how much easier that would make it to be concious of other food choices during the day to meet macros. It also helped to eliminate decision fatigue. I also tried quinoa for the first time. Yay for trying new foods that have you go "huh?" :D

Thank you! I'm going to keep this in mind. I would rather have a bit slower of a loss than get frustrated and blow it for awhile.
-
I definitely can not hack it. Restricting carbs for that long leads me straight to binge town.
-
That's what MFP has me down to now. I'm 5'3, 228 pounds and starting to feel quite hungry. I think I'm switching to 1.5 a week loss at 205 pounds.
-
Definitely an all or nothing approach. 4 Years ago I lost 65 pounds in 4 months. (Yikes!!) Gained back 90!!! I've failed so many diets because I tried all clean eating or LCHF. It all resulted in binges. One day I woke up and redownloaded MFP and read a comment that said "Why cant you have a chocolate bar if it's in your…

Chicken, broccoli, cottage cheese, Apple slices, garlic knots, baked beans. (Family of 4 here so I like to do a lot of options for everyone)

I can't wait for this! Congrats :)

My favorite after lifting

I mean I get the sh*ts if I eat fast food after not having for awhile so yeah. I'd say it's possible certain food choices will impact how you feel lol

A few weird comments. My best friend and I were talking about my journey (we are both still very plus sized) and when I told her my current weight she kind of gasped and said "You weigh less than me now! Doesn't that make you feel good?" Well, not particularly since it's not a competition and you're taller than me. Lol Was…
-
That goal is far too aggressive. One of my biggest assets in my journey so far is letting go of the all or nothing approach. The way I see it is time is going by either way. Realistically did your last year fly by when you think about it? This year probably will too. But you can make reasonable sustainable changes and be…

I have 2 kids. I started at 290. I'm 5'3. I started in mid April and am currently down to 233. I don't deprive myself of things I love. I still eat chocolate, etc. My biggest advice is to use a food scale and weigh everything.
-
I said I was going to but didn't start until April and it was totally unrelated to my new years resolution gial. Ha :D
