I cant stand anything with the taste of "diet". Aspartame, sucralose, stevia etc all taste horrible to me. I have found that no sweetener is better than that. I now prefer things unsweetened and even if a drink has regular sugar in it I have grown to dislike it.

Lots of water! Have a rice cake with a laughing cow wedge spread on it - 75 calories. 1/2 cup blueberries usually does the trick for me as well.

When I am lazy Lean Cuisine has a really good turkey sausage scramble that has eggs, potatoes, pepper, onions, turkey sausage and cheese all for 180 calories. It is really good. I am able to get them on sale for $1.68 here. Its probably not great for sodium but it fills me up until lunch.

I added chopped onions, 1 cup or so of ham, garlic, sage, a little cumin, pepper and 6 cups of water. It smelled good - we will see if it is good…

Any birth control will have vastly different side effects for each individual. I had a horrible experience with Mirena. Diagnosed with Raynauds and possible Rhematoid arthritis. suffered for 2 years. My doctor was convinced it had nothing to do with Mirena. I looked online and in the brochure for Mirena that was a possible…

Half an avocado mashed on Sarah Lee multigrain 45 cal toasted bread (add whatever spices - I do cayenne, red pepper flake and garlic powder) with half of a grapefruit I section the night before. It is quick and filling. About 165 cal.

I sautee chicken with salsa and add black beans. I add spinach and zucchini sometimes. My daughter loves it as well and asks for it all the time.

For the MOST tender Pork roast you will ever have: Any cut of pork roast will do - I usually do 3-4 pounds. - add the pork to the slow cooker (you can sear or not I have not found there to be a big difference) - season with salt and pepper (to taste), a teaspoon or more of red pepper flakes, and 3 tablespoons of dried…

My Son is on Vyvanse and it is a constant struggle with weight but has been wonderful for his self esteem and academics. We do a night shake recommended by the Dr. Whenever he is hungry I allow him to eat (even if it is midnight) and do have to gently push at all times to "remind him" that he has to eat. High calorie…

Mini egg bakes: I mix eggs, chopped ham, pico de gallo, chopped raw spinich, chia seeds, shredded cheddar, cayenne pepper and a bit of salt. Put in a muffin pan (sprayed with Pam). Bake at 380 until lightly browned on top. I save individual portions in the fridge - perfect under 100 cal snack or a couple for lunch!

Agreed - we only get the kids a little something. I used to get mad that he wasted time and money on Valentines. I rather have him do something when he feels like he wants too not because it is an obligation.

Let me rephrase my original post. I am watching my calories doing a 1200+calorie per day diet. Adding in exercise every day if I can. I can eat chips if I want in fact I can eat anything I want but I was looking for some lower calorie healthier options. I have been logging and staying on this since 01/07 /15 and have lost…

I will have to try that!

When I make a wonderful sandwich with great flavors and healthy ingredients for 305 calories it is pitiful to see that 20 veggie sticks is almost half of those calories not to mention other higher calorie chips. I want to stay within my calorie allotment without blowing it on 20 measly veggie sticks - no pleasure in that…

I did make it this morning before work and that is a great idea I will have to look into the chip maker!

Great job!!! That one is hard. I did it 2 weeks ago for the kids between sports and was proud that i only got a cheeseburger and didn't eat the bun but holy cow - nothing is amazing!!!

Chips and beer. Those are my favs and I miss them! I make my family meals that they like but I am not a huge fan of so that I don't cheat. I did however make pot roast and homemade mashed potatoes last night and had to have a teaspoon full but I didn't have a serving so it was a victory!
