There's really no easy way out of this! You just have to re-program yourself to stop it. I would drink a cup of water every time I felt the urge to eat. I would eat something just because I walked in the kitchen. It wasn't easy at first but after a while you don't even notice it.

Yes buy thermos! My kids go to a private school and they have to bring lunch from home. I bought them thermos and they are able to eat hot lunch everyday! You might have to spend a little to get a really good one but if you use it often it will be worth it!

I shared what has worked for me and my friends (including males!) when I say change your workouts around I mean add a day of lifting. When you lift you burn fat faster than just cardio alone. My gym is also 24hr. You can always call them ahead of time & ask if there is anyone who can watch you walk to the gym and back to your car. Worth a try!

Don't let your body get comfortable! I do meal prep but unlike most people who eat the same thing everyday, I eat something different! Make sure to always change your workouts. I had this problem too! Do some meal prep this way you only eat what have for that meal. Once you have control of it you don't have to do it anymore. The trick with portion control you have to meal prep until you become accustomed to what you should be eating. As far as the sweets allow yourself 60 calories a day of dark chocolate.
