I usually have a light breakfast, an orange; apple; strawberries, etc. and a couple cups of coffee about 20 minutes before my workout. I avoid anything heavy, but prefer eating something light.

Calorie counting has led me to drinking almond or cashew milk, I also have very mild lactose intolerance. Please I find the taste of Almond/Coconut blend especially or Cashew milk more pleasing. But that's very much a subjective thing.

Started out in Feb. 2013 almost 48 years old at a mystery weight, 5'9" somewhere slightly north of 300 (I decided retroactively to guess 305 may have been more -- probably was, waist was 53" with a 30 to 32 inseam, wearing a 54 Regular Suit Coat) By the Summer of 2014 and since steady between 155 and 160. Now 32 waist and…

With this in mind, I have decided to add splenda to my childrens' measles shots. ;-)

I suppose it depends on how disciplined you are. I have been power-walking every day for more than two years, I do not take a break from it out of fear taking a break will be habit forming. That's probably 40 plus years of bad previous habits affecting me.

About 150 pounds, I'm guessing. From 5'9" 305 to about 155 pounds. Took about 16 months, kept it off for about 9 months and counting.

This and mentioning the "fitting in a booth", no longer having to worry about that. Flying and not needing a seat extender or fitting comfortably into airplane seats. Seeing myself in a reflection surrounded by people and thinking "my goodness, I really am a small person" (I am 5'9) and loving that feeling.

I have a similar case to you (well not quite the six-pack, but close) I have lost what I would guess is 150 pounds and while I am fortunate to not have too much loose skin, the belly hang is definitely there, and as I am 49, will probably be a regular thing. It's still preferable to the alternative still being way…

Just about everything. As I lost Goodwill and consignment stores were my friends. I had not worn jeans in years, now I have a ton of them. Getting into 501 jeans with a 32 waist and wearing a 40R jacket were the goals. I made those...now I just want to be in them into the future.

Feb. 2013 about 305...I'm guessing, never got on a scale. To Jan. 2015 maintaining at about 155 to 160

So many fellow success stories. Started in February 2013, reached my goal about 15 months later and have been maintaining the last seven months or so. Three hours plus walking and climbing flights of stairs. Currently 5'9" 155, no idea what I was at my highest, but guessing just about three bills. So about 150 pounds,…
