Congrats on the twins!! How did you get into roller derby? I've always thought derby looked so fun but I'm not coordinated enough on skates!

I'm the type that have up frequently after a couple weeks. I feel like this time is different though and am proud of all the work I've done this last month.
-
Good luck! I'm looking to lose around 60 lbs. Just started last month and already pretty proud of how far I've come.
-
I'm on every day. Usually checks the boards a couple times a day.

I think a big problem people in a lower socio-economic area face as well Are food deserts. They are less likely to have access to fresh fruits and vegetables and it's likely that when they do have access it's at a higher price for a lower quality of produce. They may not also have the time or resources or knowledge on how…

Feel free to add me along with anyone else. I'm 26 F sw: 205 Cw: 197 Gw: undetermined but I'm thinking around 140
-
Around 7_8 lbs. I went from 205 to 197. So around 2 lbs a week which is a much fast weight loss than I was expecting
-
My clothes are fitting looser. I've started hooking my bra on the middle hooks instead of the last hook.
-
My clothes weren't fitting, I was getting out of breath from simple things, my weight was slowly creeping up more, and I had no energy to do anything. I've tried many times to lose weight but this time I'm pretty determined.
-
My kids are 3 and 6 so not a new mom anymore but I'm looking to lose around 50 to 60 lbs.

I'm in northwest Ohio. About an hour from toledo.

I struggle I'm wekends too. We tend to eat out more on weekends so the portions are bigger (and God forbid that I don't finish it all!) and the food is more calorie dense. Its something I plan to work on this month.
-
Eating out on weekends definitely. And when I do eat out, I don't moderate what I eat and go until I'm stuffed full.
-
I would be so down with a sleep to weight loss plan. I assume it would just be my muscles wasting away but I like sleep so I might be ok with that.
-
Yea once a week. Same day, same time, and same outfit so it's most accurate. I weigh throughout the week occassionally too but I don't track those.
-
Congrats on your little one. I have two girls that are 3 and 6. Its definitely harder to find the time to work out because family, work, and college take precedence but it's worth it when I see my kids making healthier choices because I'm modeling healthier choices for them.
-
I've increased my water intake in a major way and I'm less likely to snack. I also don't get as many junk food "cravings" now

Would your doctor feel comfortable writing a referral for physical therapy? I think they would have better knowledge of what's safe for a stroke patient than a physical trainer might. When I worked in a rehab center, our physical therapists saw stroke patients and one even had additional training geared towards stroke…

The situations not difficult, I'm just not willing to do it for personal reasons.. You said people who dont weigh their food dont lose or even gain. I'm saying that's not true. People can do it without weighing. That's just not the popular opinion here on MFP. Some may not be able to but it can be done.
-
I understand that. I just think it's a bit of an over simplification. I know my measurements aren't the most accurate so i tend to over estimate. It might become more of an issue when I have less weight to lose but I'll deal with that when I come to it.
-
Granola bars are my favorite. Healthy and easy to grab on the go.
-
I'm estimating everything and losing weight. Around a pound or more a week. I refuse to let my children see my relationship with food being me weighing every single little bite I put into my mouth. I think that's just as unhealthy as them seeing me eat everything in sight.
-
Fitting into those pants that have always been just a tad too tight.
-
Yea there's nothing to do about that. Goodbye tatas!
-
I don't think there is anything wrong with it as long as you keep in perspective that weight fluctuates and some days will be more than others. I weigh most days but only track Sunday mornings
-
I'm not from van wert but I'm in wauseon. Not close enough to go for a run though! Sorry
-
One of us works out while the kids are awake and the other after they are in bed. I usually like to do it after they're in bed cause I need time to disgest my dinner but I occassionaly do it with them awake and my husband keeps the kids out of my hair.
-
Nice job recognizing it. I'm a total stress eater too.
-
For the most part but I don't beat myself up if I go over by 20 or something.

He's definitely insecure and putting you down to make himself feel better. And that's not ok. You don't deserve to be treated like that. Its time to have a big sit down chat with him about his attitude and put downs.
