I'm 26. Looking to lose about 50 to 60 lbs. I'll add you and others are welcome to add me too

My official weigh days are Sunday am just after I wake up. But I weigh myself usually 2 other times throughout the week cause I have no self control. I'm pretty realistic about weight fluctuations though and don't let them get me down

I'm at 1610 and with exercise calories I usually can eat more than that. I don't always eat all my exercise calories back. I also don't weigh my food though so I probably eat more calories than I log. I've still lost weight this month though. For reference, I'm 26 yr old female, 5'7", and started the month at 205.

Northwest Ohio and reading "The Effective Healthcare Supervisor" or at least I'm supposed to be reading it but instead I'm cruising MFP chat boards ;)

I think 10 lbs a month is a little aggressive. I just started at the beginning of January and I'm looking at a 6-8 lb loss for the month. I'm also a mom to 2 young kids and only work out in the evenings once the kids are in bed. It's tough cause between them, work, school, and finding time to spend with my husband I just…

I hate it and wish there was a way to turn that off.
-
I miss the convenience of it. Although I still probably eat it more than I should.

Thank you for all your suggestions. Taking small sips and swishing it around helped a ton. It got rid of that dry mouth feeling but didn't give me the sloshing feeling!
-
This is exactly me! Started at 205, lost about 7 so far and looking to lose around 60. I added you. How tall are you?
-
This made me chuckle. The stickers never worked for my kids but m&ms worked wonders. Probably not the best reward system for weight loss though.
-
I'm always looking for new friends. Feel free to add me and so can anyone else.
-
I also have done a lot of starting and stopping. These 3 weeks are probably the longest I've stuck with my weight loss though.
-
Wearing clothes without a bunch of visible rolls!

I added you. I'm 5'7" and looking to lose around 70 lbs. Anyone can feel free to add me.

Fast food. I've been doing pretty good at cutting back on that.
-
Nice job. I'm at 6.8 lbs lost so far. Excited to see what the end of this week gets me for my monthly loss

I've found a lot of videos on YouTube I like. Bikini Body Mommy is pretty good (but her voice annoys me) and blogilates.

5 or 6 times a week. I alternate running and body weight exercises during the week.

I'm looking to lose about 50 to 60. I've started this journey many times but have never followed through and usually give up early on. This time I'm committed!

I agree with this as well. On days I'm more motivated, I push much harder on my workouts and am more diligent about what I eat. Less likely to give into temptation.
-
Motivation ebbs and flows. Earlier this week I was unmotivated due to feeling sick. Now I'm super motivated cause I had a great workout. Whether my motivation is low or high, I still plan to stick with it though. There just might be more b**tching on the low motivation days ;)
-
That's great. I started out thinking there was no way I could stay in my calorie goal cause I felt like I was starving despite my goal not being very restrictive. After a month I'm finding it much easier to stay within my daily limit and sometimes even under.

I'm just over the border in NW ohio but i used to live in SE Michigan for a time and love the wolverines ;)

This is huge!! It's been really hard for me to cut out the fast food! We've cut it down to just weekends but I know I can still do better.
-
This is awesome!! I'd love to try something like boxing or karate!
-
I ran more than I walked in the treadmill today!! I realized I was going at too fast a pace so I bumped my speed down. I'm feeling super pumped about my cardio days now!!
-
No because I've been down this road so many times before and given up. But this time feels different. I still don't plan to tell anyone though except my husband. Although my sister in law is on here and we are friends so she at least knows I'm tracking my food
-
Anyone is welcome to add me. I'm always looking for more friends :)

I think if you have to ask then you already know the answer.

I don't see anything wrong with it. I usually do a full body workout then afterwards a 15 min yoga video that focuses on the abs and core.
