  • That's just awesome...
  • I'm super geeky, if you couldn't already tell by the Red Hood profile photo, and the fact that I have Joker decorated cookies in the oven and I'm playing Arkham Knight.... I'm pretty much at my goal weight, but I'm beginning training tomorrow. Body beast, asylum, yoga, and martial arts. I actually learned the bo staff…
  • I've seen this on Facebook. Luckily, I live close to the country that I can go to farms and get honey. I just refill honey bear with my real honey because he's cute. I like going to the farms here in Ohio (walnut creek) because they have different types of honeys. I tried a really dark one that tasted amazing. I don't…
  • I have a little orange blossom honey container and a giant clover honey container. Both are about the same thickness plastic as honey bear.
  • I've noticed that my refill container that I store in the pantry has never crystallized, while the honey bear that is out on the counter is solid as a honeycomb. Not sure what the difference is, but mr bear is gonna be in the pantry once I get my honey smooth.
  • I was using a knife to just scrape it on toast, but my little bear has crevices that are holding onto the honey. I have a giant refill jar in the cupboard that never crystallizes, but I like honey bear cause he's aesthetically pleasing.
  • Feel free to add me. I'm focusing on the fitness aspect trying to build strength, endurance and flexibility, since I'm fairly close to my weight goal.
  • I'm a taller one at 5'7" with CW 138lbs and GW 130lbs, but I've also had an ED and am focusing on healthy foods and fitness.
  • I did insanity last winter and it was nice having a whole group of people on here doing it everyday together. I'm moving to Insanity Asylum, but I'll be sure to send you 'congratulations' on the way, because it does help.
  • It's a great idea, but I'm gonna change it for my rewards. I don't have much to lose anymore, so my rewards are going to go for completing fitness programs. Everytime I complete a month of Body Beast, Insanity Asylum, and 30 day yoga, im allowed to get work done on my tattoo sleeve.
  • Being an exbulimic, you're used to eating large quantities at a fast speed (I'm assuming). So it'll take time to retrain your brain and slow down your eating habits. 3 months is very commendable, but it'll take more time.
  • I'm 28 and love comic books. I think I went to a total of 9 conventions this year. Cosplaying is my dream.
  • 2016 Goals -Complete Body Beast -Complete Insanity Asylum -Complete 30 Day Yoga Challenge -Complete ALL 30 Day App downloads (7) -run/walk a marathon -Wear a bikini without feeling self conscious. -Do a handstand without falling.
  • I think I'm doing better today. Family event #2 was yesterday, and I even had a slice of chocolate cake and coconut cake. I have a very rigorous training regimen coming up beginning in January, so I keep telling myself I need to eat. The Ed mindset was telling me to drop a ton of weight before January 1st and then I can go…
  • I'll have to try that. I've been doing well for the past week. I still have not self harmed. So since I attempted to eat more today and I haven't injured myself, I'm rewarding myself by dying my hair purple.
  • Is it a DVD, app, or on YouTube?
  • Mine has been the same for a few days.
  • Why not legumes? Those are a great source of protein.
  • Check out videos on YouTube. I decide which martial arts I want to do that day and search for a video. There's a lot of very nice ones. If you get a chromecast, you can watch these videos on your tv so you can see what they're doing better.
  • Starting January first I'm doing body beast, insanity asylum, and 30 day yoga challenge by Adrienne. (I think that's how her name is spelled. She's on YouTube of you look up 30 day yoga challenge.)
  • I tend to measure my fitness based on if I beat my time in a mile, do more reps, learn a new bo staff spin, or last longer during an insanity challenge than before. I have an eating disorder and body dysmorphia, so when I'm healthy, I focus more on what my body can achieve than the scale number.
  • Their main goal was to 'take you from a hot moment to a cool calm'. They asked me to describe some other coping mechanisms instead of self harming. I've done the meditation, I've had background tv sounds on, and last night I had music on. I plan on starting yoga up once I feel better (I'm sick), which was helping during…
  • It seems most veggies and fruits are my 'safe' foods. Before this hit, I had a bunch of hard boiled eggs on hand that I was eating as snacks. It's like I have to ask that weird little voice for permission before I eat anything. If it's 'safe' I can have it. If it's a 'fear' food, I'm not allowed having it.
  • I did try meditation last Sunday. It was actually pretty relaxing, but it didn't last long. I did download a few apps to try again.
  • Thanks everyone. I think the combination of being sick and not feeling physically hungry, and being mentally sick and not wanting to eat is really making things tough. My lack of motivation to force myself to eat is my ultimate downfall.
  • Having fitness goals versus weightloss goals is much better. Work on trying to lift heavier weights, or run a faster mile, swim longer distances. I did the running too, but I'm gonna start lifting weights in January. Want to get stronger arms and core so I can perfect advanced yoga poses.
  • I agree with this. I'm also older and I'm trying to set a good, healthy example for my 7 year old niece. It's not about that number on the scale, but what your body can do.
  • I like beach body programs like insanity, but they're expensive. Right now I am doing these downloadable apps that are just lovely. I'm doing 30 Day Abs, Squats, Push-ups, Arms, Butt, Thighs, and Cardio challenges. The 30 Day Plank Challenge doesn't work anymore. They're all free and day 1 only takes about 20 minutes to do…
  • I think finding a fitness challenge is the best thing while recovering from ED. I've had EDNOS for 18 years, and I will start to notice 'urges' happening every few months. I stopped using my food scale and guesstimate my food (I'll dice up carrots without weighing them and then guesstimate that it was about a cups worth…
  • When my calorie count was low (1,400) my cheat day was between 4,000-5,000 calories since I was so hungry. I figured out my TDEE (2,200) and I don't feel the need for a cheat day anymore since I can fit small portions of my favorite foods during the week.
