I admit I'm addicted to it and weight myself pretty much daily, especially after taking a huge dump (pardon my French). I also know it affects my mood for the rest of the day if I'm moving up and not down, and I'm also only logging the weight on MFP when it drops. Bad? Yes. Oh well...

Good for you! 22 lbs is pretty drastic, just make sure you pace yourself realistically. I started off like you and after a year have lost 65 lbs but the rate slowed considerably. I'm still losing weight but at a much more even rate which I think will help me maintain it. Add me and good luck!
