Thanks pent ... ... you make a good point ... I can still lose weight while recovering ... just eat even less. Also ... 1 week of maintenance is not going to throw off my life goals ... setbacks are expected.

When I get to my goal (159.9 lbs) ... my "reward" is a maintenance week where I consume calories to maintain for a whole week. Then I'm diving back in to get down below 15% bodyfat.

As you lose weight; your body consumes less calories ... so you have to have to consume even less calories. If you have zero drficit... you'll lose zero ... if you decrease tour deficit... youll lose more slowly. Your body doesn't know what your brains "goal weight" is.

When You first start working out your cells hold more water... ... some ppl even GAIN ... but it's water not fat. You'll have a "whoosh" in another week.

i have super stubborn belly fat too ... it's where it all hangs on. i feel like i'll never have abs. that said ... you really do already look great ... juts keep at it. the last pounds are the most stubborn as i am finding out right now.
