  • PW: 164.7 CW: 165.3 Hey everyone, today is my weigh-in day. My name is Shawna. Mom of 2, and I live in Canada. I joined for some accountability and motivation. I can be easily motivated by others’ success, so hoping this is the case here. I have a goal to lose 15 lbs by the end of July. Thanks to everyone behind the…

  • Hey, I'm Shawna! I've been on MFP on and off over the past 7 years, with lots of success, and then a lot of hiccups. I'm on this journey to return to my "pre-baby" weight, and most importantly fit into my nicer clothing. I restarted this healthy journey this January at 196lbs, I'm now down to 166 I believe, so I'm feeling…
  • Haha well done!!!
  • Thank you so much @Piqueaboo ! I'm starting tonight. How are you doing with it?
  • Thanks @Piqueaboo I’ll have a look
  • I would love to join. Where can I find the 30 day shred videos though? Not having any luck
  • Woo! Congrats on tipping the scale @intotennis !! Great to hear that your super hard work is paying off!! Last couple days have been great nutrition-wise, but just okay with keeping active. Water intake has been horrible, oops. Been super duper busy with work so I've decided to commit to 10K steps/day until things calm…
  • Good job to all who conquered the weekend! Had my ups and down this past weekend. Saturday was couch potato day, but still made nutritious food choices. Sunday was a little more active but went wayyy over calories after visiting a restaurant. Didn't make it to the gym at all, and didn't do very much walking but I will make…
  • @intotennis I LOVE the "staying on track" advice. I think it's very important to be prepared for people to laugh at or not 100% agree with our fitness journeys. I had a similar experience while at work today. We held a potluck event and I decided to continue prepping and pre-logging my meals because it's been working for…
  • @giglqueen great job! You bounced back from a rough week, exactly like you should have :) Day 10: prepped all my meals today and pre-logged them so it was bound to be another successful, nutritious day (under cal). Made it to the gym this morning. Ran 1 mile on treadmill, speed-walked for 10 mins, then some push ups, ab…
  • Day 8: I packed all healthy foods for lunch and dinner, but still went over my calorie budget. Ah well! Got 10 cups of water in. Squeezed in a 30 min walk after work. Day 9: Lazy day off. Planned to go to the gym but didn't make it. Will go tomorrow. Didn't make the best food choices today, but stayed under calorie budget.…
  • Congratulations to our queen, @kbranch75 !!! @crazychicken2017 one pound down you're on the right path! Keep it up! Going forward, I won't be checking in on weekends because my life gets way too hectic between housework, motherhood, actual work, keeping active, and socializing. I guess I'll never be queen! Haha! Day 6: (My…
  • Wow, can't believe it's day 5 already. Congrats to everyone who survived the workweek!! Besides work (which is pretty physical), all I did was go for a 2-hour walk after my shift. Oh yeah, I also bought a new ab wheel which I tested out but I wouldn't consider that a work-out. I'll give it a real go tomorrow. Stayed within…
  • Woo, @MommaBeare You absolutely killed it at the gym, and to/from it. Amazing! Day 4: 2 hour walk this morning. 15 min run on treadmill this evening, with 15 mins using weight machines. Ate very well, stayed within calorie goal, zero junk food, not even one craving oddly. 6 cups of water. Hit 20,000 steps again. Daily=4,…
  • Really appreciating the positive feedback here! Thank you! Great job, @intotennis !!! I once tried P90X and BOY OH BOY was it tough. I admire your strength with P90X3! Also, I'm embarrassed to admit that I don't understand the daily/weekly point system, otherwise I would record it lol. @hotmammatotwogirls , I started…
  • Well done today everyone! Today I ate very well with 787 calories remaining after food and exercise. Also just finished my 8th cup of water for the day. I went for a 20 min run this morning, along with a 2 hour walk in the evening. Hit 20,000 steps. Not as much as yesterday (30,000) but still wayyy over the recommended.…
  • Great job, avoid150. I also realized that I have to be active before work, and there really is no excuse because I usually start at 3pm. I went for a 3-hour brisk walk this morning, and burned 944 calories. Great start to day 1.
  • Hi everyone, my name is Shawna. I went from fit to unfit in a span of 5 months. I finally have the right mindset that I need to start shedding weight while becoming more active. Looking forward to the month-long journey! Good luck to everyone!
  • Hi everyone. I'm 29, and for the past few months I've been getting unhealthier by the day. Earlier this year I was very committed to eating right and working out but a lot has happened since then and I unfortunately fell off the bandwagon. I plan to get back in the gym, to start running again, and to start using my Fitbit.…
  • Lw 153 Cw 150 -3 lbs
  • Well done Fwitsend!!! Lw 156.5 Cw 153 Down 3.5 lbs. I am just ecstatic! I recently hit 20 lbs down and I think I owe it to my new fit bit. I went from being active 3 measly hours per week, to 11 hours per week (more walking than working out). It's nice to visually see how well I'm doing and then to have the scale drop for…

  • @hoovhome You definitely aren't causing a damper on anyone. Like me, a bunch of us disappeared for personal reasons. I'm sorry about your current situation, it must be very difficult for you, yet you're still here pushing on through. How amazing of you. Truly admiring. Very happy your insurance was approved and the ball is…
  • LW 163 CW 160.5 Lost 2.5 lbs this week. I ate wayyy over my calorie budget 5 days out of 7, but worked my butt off in the gym to redeem myself. I almost can't believe it worked. Learning something new, every step of the way :)
