I am using the elliptical or treadmill in addition to it. I just don't go as hard so that I have the ability to do the video once I get home. I do my cardio at lunch time and the video after work

I am currently doing this. My clothes fit better. I have lost inches. I am using the 1200 calories as my goal. I have my protein set higher to help keep me full feeling. Overall, I have had success in my journey. I enjoy that it is a condensed and effective workout to do on a time crunch. I am also walking or using an…

I have the ability to eat lunch at my desk so that when I go to lunch I can use the equipment at work (I walk or use the elliptical). I have been trying to do this 2-3 times a week. I then cook dinner and leave the clean up to my daughter. My husband and son pitch in where needed and I take 30 min to push play on a video.…

Now.....don't wait. That is how we all got here, is we waited until Monday or we waited until after xxxxxx (insert obstacle here). Just start...take each day as it comes but continue to press play.

love my scale! I had to replace mine today, I think it was washed incorrectly. I can't live without it. I need it so that I know for certain what I am eating. Someone posted earlier that just because something indicates that it weighs a certain amount it really doesn't weighing items are the best way.

why are you wanting to fall back? what is triggering it?
-
Have you had any movement? You may not be eating enough and that could be why the scale isn't moving. Can you change your goals and up your protein and reduce your carbs? To change up what your eating. Are you eating small meals throughout the day?
-
that's awesome!

perfect outlook, lifestyle, not a diet. Great job on your progress!

Way to go! That is a great accomplishment. I am also 5' 4". My goal right now is 145-150. My doctor mentioned 138 as a good weight, but I don't think it is maintainable. I want to get to my first goal, see how I feel and then move on from there. As to what others say, if you can say nothing. If you can't, then feel free to…

My son has a weight issue, he is 14, he is my last straw. I had my health screening at work and my BMI hit the obese range. 5' 4 and 178 lbs and I was obese. My son is 5' 10 248 lbs at 14. I had to take control of my eating, show him and the rest of my family what portion control is, how to make better choices and that we…

It is about the journey, choices, moderation. I want to eat what my family is having and not cook 2 separate meals. I have found that eating 5-6 times a day works for me. Breakfast full of protein, fruit or yogurt a few hours later, salad for lunch, whatever I didn't have for my first snack, then dinner w/ the family. Lots…

good job!

go for it! As long as you are comfortable in it that is all that matters! I love the idea of buying one you like and then taking pictures. For me it is one that I already have. I want to wear it when we go to the OBX in June. Good luck to you!

I found twice baked cauliflower on pintrest, it was so good. I am not a hug veggie person so I have been sneaking them in where I can and hiding them from my family. I ground up carrots and put it into taco meat for my family. They get tacos with shells, but I use a piece of lettuce for the shell and fill it up with…

I have been making omelets, I sauté scallions, green peppers and fresh mushrooms, add to that 1/3 cup egg whites. I will typically add in 1 T of shredded cheese. I eat first thing in the morning, hungry or not to get my metabolism going. I eat every 2.5-3 hours the rest of the day. Smoothies are an option as well. Protein…

I found honey wheat pitas this week. Filled it w/ baby spinach, 2oz of turkey, 1T cottage cheese, paired with an apple or a yogurt. Made for a great filling lunch at right about 200 calories.

I weigh weekly and take measurements every other. It is allowing me to see results. I was amazed at the difference in my measurements in such a short time.

I feel your pain. I am in the same place, time for this baby weight (my baby is 14) to be gone. Small changes each day are leading to go things.

I am with you....lifestyle change not a diet! I have made small goals to get on track with eating. I meal plan now and try to prep for the week on Sunday. 13 lost, 20 to go....if possible I will push for another 5, but I will be ok with getting another 20 off and toning up.

Keeping my goals simple and realistic was the best way to start. It is a lifestyle change not a diet. I don't have anything that I can't eat. It is about portion control, serving size awareness and eating more often. Now that I have mastered that its time to move. My new goal is to get at least 30 minutes of movement 3x a…

I just started my journey in January. I have tried to adjust my food intake only and have slowly worked in some exercise. I was able to get to my pre-baby weight but then let life get in my way. The down side is it took me 11 years to get there. I finally committed, was using weight watchers and going to the gym 5-6 days a…

I would also look at when you are eating, are you getting 5-6 smaller meals in each day? If you are packing you calories into one meal rather than spreading them out that may help. I eat as soon as I get up and then every 2.5-3 hours after that. It seems to keep me going, my energy stays more constant, I don't notice…

I have been questioning the same thing. I keep coming back to the garmin because of the HRM w it.

I use the my recipe and foods option, I have stored recipes there and there is an option for foods. You can add them there but you have to enter all items manually. I did it one time. It has been easiest for me to scan as I eat them and then it builds up my frequently used items. Every morning I can click on breakfast and…
