Good Morning All! I'm new to myfitnesspal. The problem I am having is trying to scan all my meals/snacks in advance and put it in my database. It keeps adding to my food diary for a particular day. I wanted to store all the foods I eat on a regular, this way I can just add to my daily diary. What am I doing wrong, please help!

Each day when you log food it is stored as a recent item that you can choose each day. But in order for it to be there for you to select you must have used that item before.
You can also create your own recipes using the Recipes option under Food.0 -
Are you coming on to me?0

One work around is that you can scan them into a day in the future, let's say the following Sunday, and then add them item by item as you use them to your day-to-day logging. When you get to the future date, you can either delete them or move them forward another week or so.

I use the my recipe and foods option, I have stored recipes there and there is an option for foods. You can add them there but you have to enter all items manually. I did it one time. It has been easiest for me to scan as I eat them and then it builds up my frequently used items. Every morning I can click on breakfast and then mutli-add the foods I have eaten.....including my vitamins. Hope that helps.0
