  • There's nothing wrong with seeing a doctor for depression. With lots of weightloss comes lots of changes to your body including sometimes hormones and brain chemistry. If your body was not producing enough insulin most people wouldn't think twice about going to a doctor. A chemical deficiency in your brain is no different…
  • I may go for a bit of comfort food today now that I can eat. I'm not actually worried about calories at all at the moment. I am more worried about food that will soak up some medicine. Like rice.
  • Just a quick hello, the first 4 days after surgery were very rough. I couldn't hold down any food or meds so I had chicken broth and veg broth and I walked 5 min every hour or 2. Yesterday I was able to take a little medicine and was up to walking 10 minutes every 2 hours without too much pain. Walking is the only thing…

  • Why not get everyone on a healthier eating habit? It's a great thing to build healthy eating habits while they are young. I know the kids wouldn't be psyched about it at first but you can always not give them an option.

  • Surgery went well. The doctor agreed with my maintenance calories at 1600 a day for the next few weeks while my body heals. He said we could discuss calorie intake after recovery and also that my insurance will cover consulting a nutritionist too. Since any extra weight at all can exacerbate back issues

  • I have the same problem with lithium and unfortunately my doctor cannot change it. We've tried and lithium seems to be the only one that works for me.
  • Well that's good news. I was not aware. Ive cut back a lot on beer because of calories but I still want to be able to enjoy a beer when out with friends.
  • Eating disorders begin with body dysmorphia. If you see something different to what everyone else sees then it may be time to see a doctor.
  • Staring. 100% If you see someone with mobility issues for Goodness sake don't stare at them. Even if you're thinking good for them it can feel very uncomfortable. Also I hate the gym "expert" I really do. I know they're trying tp be helpful but my physical therapist has already taught me correct form.
