I know all my questions are medical but I downloaded this app because the doctor recommended it and I'm trying to take control over my health and my body because I'm too young to feel this garbage.0

Stick with whole foods. Unless they're freshly made from a restaurant, Gluten free substitutes (buns, bagels, etc) are expensive and taste like cardboard. Also forget about the gluten free flours atm.
For right now, keep your meals simple - meat/protein of choice and vegetables. If you already know how to cook, great! If not, it's definitely a learning curve. It took me almost a year before my food looked/tasted decent . Once you get the hang of it, then you can start being creative.
You can eat: meat, seafood, eggs, poultry, vegetables, dairy, fruits, legumes, nuts, seeds, gf grains (rice, quinoa, oats). Check labels on everything, especially sauces, dips, seasonings, and soups.

I quite like the caulipower pizza crust but it's the only gluten substitute I've tried that I actually enjoyed. The alamo drafthouse theater had it and I tried it and liked it.0

No not necessarily. Ciders are gluten free, and there are some GF beers out there.0 -

Well that's good news. I was not aware. Ive cut back a lot on beer because of calories but I still want to be able to enjoy a beer when out with friends.0 -
I don't drink, so I can't help you there. I know how hard it is. I am on a modified paleo diet for health reasons, and at first I was like, "Try to pry the cheese from my cold, dead hands" hahaha! I just slowly cut foods out of my diet while adding new ones. You will be surprised with what's out there! I have been doing it for a while now, and I promise it will get easier.1

I'm glad you liked the cauliflower pizza! I'm not a fan of it or cauli rice, but that's just a personal preference. You should check if your store sells cassava tortillas. I've made them myself, and they're the closest thing to wheat in my opinion. I don't buy them now because they tend to have coconut flour, which I can't tolerate.0

I never like flour tortillas. I'm a corn tortilla girl all the way. Good tip though.0
