Nope!!!!

Yes, and they are foods that I don't like, don't care for, are not worthy the calories (for me), can live without them, don't crave them, and/or they make me sick or give me an unpleasant reaction of any kind when I eat them. I have no problem with moderation and I can have any type of food in the house, but if it fits the…

I sounds good, I must try it and maybe add some diced ham to increase the protein. Thank you for sharing.

BAD decision stopping your thyroid meds, you are heading for a health disaster, and in the long run weight gain will be the least of your problems. Please go back to the doctor and explain your reaction to the meds that he gave you, have your TSH T3/T4 levels checked again and either ask him to manage your dose or change…

Aging at 32 years old!!!! I don"t think so. You are waaaaay too young to define your 30s as "aging." What are you going to call yourself when you get to your seventies, a relic? Enjoy your present age and take care of yourself. The best is still to came, trust me on that.

I don't count or log calories as diligently as I did before. After being six years in maintenance I really deserve a break; I don't want to became too OCD since I only had less than 10 lbs to lose when I joined MFP. I don't log while on vacation, when eating out (unless the restaurant has a detailed nutritional information…

We don't correct grammar in MFP. It is against the rules....

I prepare my egg, tuna, salmon and chicken salad with equal amounts of mayo and Fage, among other things; I like it and so does my husband but we all have different taste. Try it and you may like it or maybe not. There is only one way to find out.

It is up to you, some people log vitamins/supplements and others don't. I do know that some vitamins do have few calories but I don't care. I didn't/don't log them because it would be too OCD in my opinion, and not important for my goals (I have been maintaining for 6 years).
-
No, I don't have any in particular. I cook, serve, eat, wash, clean up the kitchen, log (if a remember and/or feel like it), and seat down to watch TV with my husband. I serve desert about 45 to 60 minutes after I am down with dinner because I don't go to bed until almost to midnight. Why do you ask?

You question is not too clear for my Saturday's mind, and the title of your post and the question don't match, Could you please clarify?

You can buy low calorie, fat free, and "standard/real" food at any store. You don't need to shop in Whole Foods or TJ for that.
-
You are not! Read my post above.

I hate cinnamon and I also have a mild allergy to it so it is not allowed it in my house or my food. Even the smell makes me gag. :s Therefore, it is not healthy for me.

@Queenmunchy and @crazyravr Thanks for the tips peeps! I do mashed cauliflower all the time instead of mashed potatoes. My husband and I like it very much and sometimes I add shredded cheese, any kind, to give it a different flavor.

Oh dear, I was hopping to find a package at a supermarket because I don't have a food processor. I am not inclined to get one either since my cooking is quite simple. Thanks for the information and kudos to you for doing that.

Just as Victoria_1024 said, I don't log much on vacation. I don't like to estimate calories and unless the restaurant has nutritional information in their website and it is easy to find in the database, I will not bother logging my food. I also need a break from weighing and logging. I try to cook and eat breakfast in and…

Where do you get the cauliflower rice? I would like to try it and see how my husband and I like it.

This is a keeper (except for the garlic). I may also spice it up maybe with a can of rotell and I may also throw some diced chicken after blending for more protein. Thank you for sharing.

Over 6 years ago I lost weight just using measuring cups. I didn't own a scale and I did fine, but I only had 10lbs to lose. I got a scale at a friend's suggestion when I was already in maintenance. I do not know why I got it because I don't bake but I did and I am now using it but not all the time. I got to be very good…

I feel for you! Take care, do what you can, have a positive attitude and stay away from any trigger food. If you can walk, do it because it will help you to burn some calories and will keep you busy. I hope that you heal soon, so better listen to your doctor.

All the bolded items plus cleaning products, cereals (we don't eat much of it), pasta, ethnic foods, etc. The fresh and frozen vegetables are in the perimeter so I should not have bolded them but I don't know how to -unbold ;) Fage and all diary are located in the perimeter of the store. I am respecting your wishes of no…

I will Sonia, but first I have to buy a carton of milk.. :D

I just listen to what ever music is playing at the gym. Less problem and cheaper. Although most of the time I am so concentrated in what I am doing that I don't even put attention in the music.
-
Have you try making it with cow milk and without the chia seeds? I don't like almond milk or chia seeds.
-
As for the bolded part you are the age of my older child so, no, you are not that old. Enjoy your age and the benefit that you still get for "lifting heavy." Been there, done that. I was hitting the gym and working with weights before it was the fad of the century.
-
So do I. After rotator cuff surgeries in both shoulder that is all that I can and should be lifting.
-
Wow, my gym has sets of 15 and 20lbs "pink" dumb bells, so I guess that the color makes them weenies... >:) So sad an unfair to put labels on what people want or can lift.

Not everybody is interested in looking good naked since most of us spend more time with clothes on....Besides, there is not proven guarantee that progressive resistance will give you a good naked body. A lot depends on genetic and age. Edited to add that I DO lift weights and do moderate cardio.

That is a negative attitude that may lead to failure. Gaining weight would make you more miserable than skipping the wine. I was on the road and sometimes spending more time on planes and hotels than at home for almost 20 years, so I think that I have some experience in the subject. This is what I did and how I managed to…
