Just what it says guys. I have a meniscus tear in my right knee and will be having surgery soon. I usually just do upper body workouts at the mentors but want some sort of exercise for my lower body.
Any suggestions would help.

Wouldn't you want to ask someone with a medical degree what activities are safe prior to a surgery?0

Frankly, I don't think you can do any lower body workouts w/an injured knee and you won't be able to do any upper body workouts that require you to stand on both legs either. I certainly couldn't do any when I tore the 3 ligaments in my left knee.
Just take it easy after your surgery and work w/your PT to regain strength in your injured knee and you should be back to doing full upper and lowe body workouts in 3-6 months.
At least that's how long it took me after ankle and foot surgery. Never did do the knee surgery; just strengthened the leg muscles and wear a protective brace if I need be.
Good luck!0 -
I agree ask your doctor and PT I certainly wouldn't use any weight. I know after my knee surgery my PT had me doing stretching, leglifts, curls and extensions with almost no weight other than my leg weight.0
