Wrist Size and Frame Size Knowing your frame size allows you to estimate a healthy weight range for your body. Wrist circumference is often used for determining frame size, since people who with larger frames also have larger wrists. For example, a man over 5 foot 5 inches tall, and a wrist that measures 6.5 to 7.5 inches…

@RelCanonical I use the website, not the app, and as after I read your posting I went back several pages and noticed that page 69 and most of 70 still have "disagree" in all the postings. A troll or a glitch???
-
When I checked the forum last night I saw that every posting had "disagree" marked. I scrawled back several pages, and I noticed that most of the postings had also "disagree." I thought that a troll had taken over the thread because he/she didn't like to be organized, but maybe it's is another MFP glitch. Glad that they…

Who in the heck is clicking "disagree" in every posting?

Progresso soups are about 900 mg of sodium per serving (the low sodium ones are 1/2 of that), But 2225 mg of sodium is really a lot for people that don't need to keep the sodium update higher. Note to self: don't buy that brand!
-
Sushi and canned soups are usually low in calories but high in sodium, and so are most of the chicken, vegetable or beef stocks or broths, like Swanson. V8 vegetable juice and meat tenderizers, even the unseasoned one.

@serendipity22 Good job and now that you are done, come over my house and help me clean-up a couple of cabinets full of very old papers that I have in my garage. The bottom drawer in one of the cabinets is almost touching the floor because the weight of the papers probably broke they hinges. That drawer will have to be the…

I seem to be very sensitive to fiber, so I keep mine between 21 and 25 and sometimes a go over, bur not by much. I put Benafiber (2 tsp) everyday in a bottle of water that I keep on my home office, and that doesn't show in the diary, but 38 grams of fiber will keep me in the loo for a week.

Twice a day black coffee with one splenda or stevia. Nothing else.

@snoo61 Great job, and happy that we could inspire you and others to do some "closet cleaning and organization."

Good plan @NewLIFEstyle4ME! There are no cold winters where I live (S.California desert), so I don't need to be switching the order of my clothes according to the seasons. But I often check that all the clothes are good to wear and donate or trash things that are no longer needed. I do keep things that I don't wear too…

I don't track calories in MFP but I do keep a mental track of my food intake. For me it means no binging and indulging in moderation. I don't drink, and I have no appetite for sweet deserts, so that helps me a lot. I try to exercise some, specially walking. I also try to lose a lb or two before going on vacation so I have…
-
I agree with some of the above postings and this is are my added suggestions. 1) Change your goals to lose 1.5lbs a week instead of 2lbs. It may slow down your rate but you will have few more calories to play around with. 2) Reduce your cardio to 30 minutes and incorporate additional exercises such as, and especially,…

My after dinner desert (fruit and yogurt or cottage cheese most of the time), counts as my evening snack.

I live in the California desert, if I were to leave the tomatoes on the counter top, they would be trashed in a couple of days. Everything goes inside the fridge in my neck of the woods, unless it needs to ripe more. Besides, I don't understand why you think that is bad keeping the tomatoes in the fridge. But you do you,…

@RubyRed427 Good job Ruby! I am getting ready to go on vacation in a week and yesterday I was going thru my clothes selecting what I was going to take, and I found things that I don't longer care for or that they don't fit me well anymore (and don't bring me joy by default...), and they are now in the donation bag. I also…

Put them in the fridge and they will hold for several days. I buy the Costco's large tomato box all the time and they never go bad. If they get too ripped I add them to the soups, chili, stir-fry veggies or stews. I don't do tomato sauce because I don't eat pasta. How does a nice tomato-avocado-cheese sandwich on toasted…

@AnnPT77 Did you realize that this thread is from January 2015 and that the OP hasn't log in MFP since March 2016?

OMG what a fat, cholesterol, triglyceride, and calorie bombs those things are!!!

It looks very fattening and something that I would never try because my stomach would burst. But I am like that you enjoy it.

Salmon: twice a week, more if possible Avocado: anytime of the day or night Coffee: twice a day, black, Splenda/Stevia no milk or cream Tea: only green tea and once in awhile.

I do something similar but I replace the honey (I don't like honey) with Smuckers sugar free Apricot Preserve, plus the mustard.

I don't prep too many meals or too often either, bur when I do these are my preferences (I think that some have been mentioned already) 1) Soups; mainly pure vegetables soups to which you can add protein at serving time. 2) Chili (chicken, turkey or beef with beans of choice, and sometimes with vegetables) 3) Meatloaf…

Thank you to all of you that posted articles clarifying Terri Schiavo's situation. The ordeal of the last weeks of her life (legal fights between her parents and husband, plus political intervention), were so strong that completed negated the reality of her life and years in coma. May she rest in peace.
-
@unstableunicorn Good for you! Finding balance in all aspects of our life is not easy to achieve, so I am happy that you did. Keep up the good work; your body and mind will reward you in kind. <3 Note: you should now change your user name to "stableunicorn" :D :D :D

@snoo61 Are you on Dorian's path? Dear Lord, I hope not, because that hurricane is a monster. Stay safe. <3
-
Sorry for changing the subject but I wanted to clarify, that based on my readings and recollection of her case, that I don't think that the reason for Terri going into a sudden coma has been clearly defined. But I would appreciate if @ rheddmobile can provide me with a link or an article documenting that Terri collapsed of…

@keodell1966 Read the above post written by @zylkm4. She, like me and others, went thru unwanted surgical menopause, others go thru drug induced menopause due to breast or gyn cancers. Is that what you want to experience? Just let mother nature take its course and don't rush things unless you must. Menopause is more than a…
