I know exactly how you feel. I started Feb. 8th and still haven't lost my first 20 lbs even though I ALWAYS stay within my calorie range. However, when I do the math, it tells me I'm losing an average of 1.83 lbs per week, which is what I was aiming for. So you just have to remember that weight loss isn't linear and if you…

I think seeing someone melt before their eyes can be very shocking to some people. When my cousins had weight loss surgery, I was very alarmed by the drastic change. Try to understand that it will take time for them to get used to this new you. The only thing that really matters is how you feel about yourself. You look…

I used to take big bites out of the cream cheese when I was in high school. My mom would flip out when she went to make a pie and saw my teeth marks, lol.

I use cottage cheese instead of ricotta.

LOL...love it. :)

I don't do it often, but I've been here 35 days and I've had Taco Bell twice and Subway once. I made good choices and had no problem fitting them in to my daily goal.

Wow! Just wow! You are awesome! Congrats! :)

I love veggie scrambles. I use 2 eggs, baby spinach, green onions, sliced mushrooms, sweet peppers and sometimes a tablespoon of grated parmesan. So yummy.

I am the same way at night. Luckily, most of the time all I want in the morning is coffee, so I save those breakfast calories for a nightly snack. Works out pretty great for me. I've also used crushed ice to keep my crunch cravings in check.

Are you weighing your food? I would just weigh it after I trim it and go by that. I think it would be much easier to switch to turkey bacon and grilled fish, though. Seems like you'd get about the same thing with less confusion.

Are you on any kind of medication? Even over the counter stuff like ibuprofen can cause heartburn sometimes. I get heartburn from stuff like Taco Bell, wine, even diet soda.

I used to drink diet soda all the time. Then I started to notice I was getting heartburn more and more often. When I got serious about losing weight in Feb. I switched to mainly water. No more heartburn. I like Sprite Zero and I think it might have been the citric acid that was causing it. Sometimes I still drink it late…

I'm not familiar with this product, but I do keep SlimFast in the house for those times when I'm really busy and don't have time to plan out a meal. It can come in handy for that kind of thing, but otherwise I would rather chew on something, lol.

The queen of couch potatoes and social anxiety (me) actually left the house and took a walk outside. It felt great. I might start doing this everyday. Then I stopped procrastinating and took my measurements and even remembered to record them. :)

If you're eating from habit or boredom, get a hobby that involves your brain and your hands. I crochet, read, play video games, paint. Stuff like that will take your mind off food and keep your hands from reaching for the chips. If you just want to crunch on something, crushed ice is great. Sometimes you just need to…

I've used mashed avocado and light ranch dressing to make tuna salad. Both were pretty good.
