Do what makes you happy and what you can stick to
-
Do what makes you happy. You are more likely to be able to stick to it. As long as you eat the correct balance of calories it doesn’t matter when you eat or even what you eat when it comes to weight loss. I eat most my calories at night as it's when I am most hungry.

You are advising her how to avoid binging as opposed to addressing why she feels like binging. What if she can't take a walk around that time or do something else? Are you saying it is ok for Chloe to feel like binging as long as she is able to control it?

Elimination not illumination

I used to be where you are and I am not anymore. You can be here to. First I had to break the binge diet cycle. I did this by eating what I wanted without restriction or illumination. I made sure I was not walking around tired or hungry as this leads to binging. When you decide you will eat and enjoy every meal then you…

If you are hungry then eat more? If you start to gain weight eat less. If you don't eat enough generally then you will always feel hungry. You need to not feel deprived them the hunger will go.

I really like this thread. I eat what I want and one scheduled meal a week I eat how much I want. Even more than one, some weeks. I follow the 80/20 rule. Because I eat what I want I don't really crave or feel like eating massive junk meals now. I can maintain weight like this as I do not feel deprived and crucially I can…

Same here. I wasted so many years caught in the restriction and binge cycle. Only to end up fatter each time. Now I eat enough and I am happier then ever. Not walking around tired and hungry.

Yep. Simple. Eat more and lose weight more slowly!!!!! Is there some rush you haven't mentioned? If you take it off too fast you will put it back on. Slow and steady. There is no supper food that is going to leave you fully if you are not eating enough over the days, weeks, months.

Cheese, cream, pancakes, pizza and burgers. I now eat them guilt free and I really can enjoy their taste. I didn't hate them before I just rarely at them.

You don't have to weigh. Weigh yourself about every 7-10 days. If you haven't lost weight then reduce you portions slightly until you lose weight. Do not reduce too much, even when you start losing weight. It will be tempting but don't do it. You should feel mentally and physically satisfied after every meal.

Sitting time and mortality

I used to but I don't any longer. I don't think about food anymore than anything else. I am happy for you or anyone else to add me. I remember when people used to say this to me about no longer having a ed, I thought 'yeah right'. It took almost 10 years to beat it but I could have done it in a few days if I had been…

It shouldn't matter if you eat carbs or protein for breakfast, Getting hungry 1 hour after eating suggests you are not eating enough generally. that feeling of hunger could be a psychological and physical response to you not feeling full, feed, and nourished after each meal. I would suggest having someone look over your…

I think people overeat to obesity in responses to emotions/feelings they are not addressing or feel unable to. I think that the answer to weight loss is accepting oneself and to realise you are good enough right now without feeling the need to change yourself. You must realise that you are not lacking in any way and being…

I am so lost. I don't no what I want it for other then I can't take my road bike on grass. I saw one yesterday with big fat wheels. Like the bat bike.lol

As long as you make healthier choices 80% of the time you will be fine to have the occasional unhealthier choices. I don't see it as a treat meal though as all my meals are enjoyable. I feel nourished so I do not crave that hit of the so called cheat meal. Now for the disclaimer. I know some people fitness…

I think it's calories in and genetics which influence your natural body composition.

Am I missing something here?

If I can help one person to see through the marketing bs, then I am happy. Next time they ask you should say that "I have this secret..... but it's going to cost you" Lol. Some will pay.

Can you help me with advice what I should be looking for in a decent off road bike. There are so many and I do not know what to look for in regards to bike features. Thanks I marvel over the human mind. We have been sold "diets" for years. We are still here logging and weighing. I understand there are commercial influences…

Sorry I misread post. It's not exercise that makes you moody. You are trying to raise your moods. If exercise doesn't help there are a million other enjoyable things. Let us know if you try any of the suggestions and if they help. Chin up

Setting yourself small/medium/large exercise/fitness goals may help? It makes the exercise more purposeful. Go with a friend. You will be amazed what inviting someone to the gym does for your enjoyment when it becomes a social event and not just part of the exercise grind? Listen to music. Chat with people in there more.…

I was never that bad that I turned down the possibility of getting laid for the gym. That's why I was going gym in the first place....lets be honest.

I ask....when the the new friends lifestyle changes, for whatever reason, and it doesn't fit or support your lifestyle. Will they then fall to the wayside? I turned down friends who used to invite me out because it didn't fit my previous lifestyle. I lost good people who I should have said, "let's go out but can we go to a…

I used to have to have to fit my life around my gym. Now being elite level fit is not important to me at all. Being healthy is important. The way I see it is...that 12 week leg programme, or superset hiit schedule are all short term. These are not things I will/can/or want to do for the rest of my life. Nothing wrong with…
