I'm a lazy logger too, and find myself eating the same foods because I know it's already in my food database and cringe when I have to add something new which makes my list longer . . .

In April, I hit my halfway point and haven't lost anything since then as I became lackadaisical. It's easy to do when you look so much better than you did before, even though you haven't reached your goal. I'm kicking it back in gear and going to attack the next hurdle.

Whatever is stretchy and cheap and has pockets at Goodwill coupled with any t-shirt.

I love that too!

As others said, since the 21 day fix doesn't work, try something different. Three 5ks are about nine miles a week. I walk my doxie more miles a week than tha, and do another 8 or 10 on the treadmill. Use the tools on MFP to see just how much you are eating and exercising. It's a great motivator.

You can walk in place while watching television or play with your two kids and cook and clean and dance and more walking in place and lifting weights or play with a kettlebell or two or chase your kids in the back yard and do housework such as sweeping and mopping and vacuuming and if you do all these things all the time…

Mine is an exerbike in my bedroom, a 10-pound kettlebell and two five-pound weights in the living room, and an unassembled crunch machine or whatever you call it somewhere in the house. The Y is a lot cheaper in the long run.

Walk three or four miles a day. Best exercise ever.

Not to sound inane, but it's hard because it's hard. Because it progresses every day, it gets harder. Me, I would rather go to the Y and do the treadmill and stationery rowboat and at home, walk my dog and ride my exerbike. That's not too hard but it works :) Except for walking my dog, I do push myself to do more and more,…

I LOVE Mrs. Dash! No sodium at all. A GREAT low-sodium and delicious seasoning is Johnny's Garlic Spread & Seasoning, available at Costco. Oh, man, it is SOOOO good! Zero calories, 60 mg sodium per 1/4 teaspoon, but 1/4 teaspoon goes a very long way. Dunno how something without calories or anything else except for a little…

You're doing fantastic. I am a lot older than middle age and didn't exercise until a few years ago, and then it was off an on. I noticed when I was on, I actually lost weight and felt better! And when it was off, I gained weight and became depressed. Now I'm not stopping. Just because you've never done it before doesn't…

Baked sweet potatoes don't even need butter, much less any sugar. An apple or banana. Fills you up and fills your need for sweets. But if you want to gorge an entire chocolate cake and/or blueberry pie, well, can't help you there.

How come you only want gay friends?
-
Of course. Eat less, move more. Do this for about a year, and voila! You are 50 lbs. lighter!
-
There are many wonderful books/cookbooks out there now on gluten-free. My favorite is "101 Best Gluten-Free Foods" published by Publications International, Ltd.
-
Eat less and move more.
-
So when you started eating more you started gainin? Maybe there's a correlation?
-
If (I mean WHEN!) I get to my goal weight, I don't plan to log my food or exercise until I get on the scales and it shows a steady gain of a couple of pounds when weighing every day. Then I'll watch every calorie like a hawk and double up on exercise. That's how I did it before gaining an outrageous amount after quitting…

Keep doing what you're doing and give it time. It will all work.

Are your really eating 2,300 calories? Seems way to high to me. And usually, people underestimate the amount of calories they eat, so you could easily be taking in 3,000 calories or more.

My grandmother told me years ago that walking helped improve your bowels.

You have to lose overall weight. Lifting helps expand muscles; it does not cause fat to disappear. Once you lose weight, the stomach will go down. I promise.
-
5'5" and only 105 pounds? I'm glad you are trying to gain weight. I would set it to sedentary.
-
I'm so glad my menopause came in my early 40s :)
-
If you're losing weight, then yes. If you aren't, then no.
-
When I don't drink, I tend to eat less and exercise more and lose weight faster. Maybe it's just me?

My daughter found a cookbook for me that is simply wonderful! Great recipes, complete nutritional information. "You Can Trust a Skinny Cook" by Allison Fishman. Also, even though I don't have Celiac disease, I have a friend that does, and found a really great gluten-free cookbook. "101 Best Gluten-Free Foods". It doesn't…

Nothing can replace will power, and if you have none, then yes, you are correct. MFP cannot help you.

Wow I'm in jail and I don't know why. Question to mods: Shouldn't I have been warned?
