Be careful not to cause more injury to yourself. I am suffering from a bulging disc in my lower back causing all kinds of pain, going to PT now for it and doing some special stretching exercises. All I can really do outside of that is walk slowly in 10 minute intervals before the pain becomes too much. Play it safe and see…

I didn't see the sweet potato gnocchi, is it frozen or near the pasta section? I would love that. Did you use any sauce or just a little butter and grated cheese ?

I try to go at off times, weeknights after 7 are usually quiet at the location I go to otherwise it can be a very hectic store. They have awesome products at good prices. And cookie butter is amazing, creamy sweet gingery deliciousness

Not food related but has anyone tried the nourish spa shampoo and conditioner? Love their mint and olive oil lip balm. I picked up all kinds of great stuff, looking forward to a pretzel bagel for breakfast tomorrow.

So many awesome suggestions! I'll probably spend 4 hours and $500 in there.

omg streusel topped muffins sound fabulous, adding that to my list. If you like cookies, try the vanilla wafers they have in the clear bucket - delish!

is the orange chicken a frozen meal ? oh yeah, love the cookie butter but I have no control when it's in the house.

I am in the same boat, I feel nagging hunger even with the smallest deficit, it is the main reason I throw in the towel. It's true hunger, not thirst, not boredom or stress eating, it doesn't go away after the first few weeks either. While the CICO concept is so simple, it's not always easy for me either. I try to…

Same here, I get it. I get a burst of motivation and start tracking and losing, feel cranky and hungry, a few weeks later it dwindles along with my motivation, I eat more and more and gain a few extra pounds on top of what I already need to lose. It's an awful cycle. We need to stay focused !

I use frozen peppers and onions all the time. I throw them right in the frying pan with some pam spray and use them with fajitas, omelets, pizza, burgers. I've also roasted frozen red peppers with potato chunks, yummy. I mix frozen peas in with pasta dishes (creamy sauces) and with rice pilaf. They come out fine, no mush.

I could use some extra support, feel free to add me. I need to lose at least 65-75 pounds.

YES !!! I have a few bottomless pit days, a few days where I want to rip everyone's head off, than I miraculously gain 3 pounds overnight without overeating. I just love hormones.

this is hilarious. I've always had issues with jeans because I'm so short, only 5' 1''. I was so happy to see that it's cool again to cuff your jeans. I just bought a pair of petite Eddie Bauer boyfriend jeans that come precuffed and they fit great. I admit, I do miss my jordache and bonjour jeans from the 80's :)

jambalaya with chicken sausage and fresh green beans

The apple fritter and Monkey Bread from Rothbury Farms are awesome too. I wish they weren't so high in calorie for such a small piece but it's a nice treat.
-
I just had one of those and loved it !

After work, before dinner is my worst time of day too. Sometimes a cup of coffee or tea is enough but other times I just need a snack so I'll make 150 calories worth of popcorn and munch away. Plan your pantry raid ahead of time so you can still indulge.

another New Englander here, I'm in CT.

Been there, done that. This time around I am less restrictive, I eat more and lose slower. When I have a bad day I have to make a conscious effort to get right back into it so I don't keep slipping. You can do this.

5' 1'' started over 200 pounds, down almost 28 so far. Feel free to add me.

@Francl27 The Thomas Apple Pie English muffins are really good.

You're here so that's a good start. I panicked too when I hit 200 pounds and was completely overwhelmed at the amount of weight I needed to lose. I started slow, tracking and weighing my food then started increasing my exercise. In the past I've given up after a few weeks because I restricted myself too much, this time I…
