Thanks so much to everyone. My husband is very supportive, but since he has never struggled with his weight it can be hard to fully understand. I appreciate the kind words and encouragement.

Rainbow198...2 years maintaining is a great accomplishment...something you said that is really important is that reaching your goal made you want to keep going...I know this is the mindset I will need to adopt to maintain my weight. Thanks so much!

1) Helping or inspiring others on their weight loss journey! 2) "Those" jeans I wanted to fit into are suddenly too big. 3) How much more you can eat when eating healthy. 4) Realizing how many chocolate chip cookies I used to eat...I do miss them... :( This blog is amazing!

I hate to say it, but I have heard that a lot from friends and family while losing weight... Knowing very well I am not "too" skinny... Not even close based on my BMI. I think people that are not losing sometimes are negative when others begin their weight loss journey. I don't even think they mean it when they say "too"…

I have been fasting on and off for a few months...24 every day def sounds like a lot. What I do is 1 day a week as I feel up to it... The most 2 days and I drink a gallon of water each day. It works for me.

Water has really helped me...sounds funny, but if you drink a lot really fast it makes you so full you don't want to eat. I have either a 32oz or 64oz container on hand at all times.

I love my Jawbone UP24...Its comfortable, and accurate based on reading the history of days I was not so active vs. really active. Also, I like that the app is easy to use.

I am 6 pounds from my goal and use a free app called Workout Trainer by Skimble . I don't love exercise and always worry about my form, but with this app (which I use on my Ipad), it makes it easy to understand how to do each exercise correctly. I have three children...so it really helps that I can just do it in my living…
