Oh no!! What a terrible feeling. I don't understand big weight fluctuations either (I certainly have them too). But as long as you know 230 will happen (and you know it will) then you've beat that negative voice that tries to convince otherwise. I'm so glad you shared your struggle. It helped me not feel so alone in myβ¦

Weekly Update... I'm on a month-long vacation (RV across the country). I've been sloppy with my CICO counting and need to clean that up some (when I get home). Weekly Update... Better week. πππ Still slooooow progress, but I'll take slow. Weekly update... The struggle is real!! I've been working myself to exhaustion on a landscaping project... and not sleeping well because I'm so sore... and eating a ton to compensate for energy spent and poor sleep. Slow and steady is sometimes easier said than done. Guess I'm naturally more of a all-or-nothing gal. π€·ββοΈβ¦

After 9+ months of this fitness process, I feel like I'm finally in the groove. I use a weekly moving average (Happy Scale App) to record my weight because it fluctuates 4lbs any day of the week - depending on what I eat (mainly), how much exercise I get, and how much water I drink. I know what to expect now. My originalβ¦

Nice work! No reason you can't take it slow with a slight deficit (a lot of folks don't have the patience).

Your TDEE seems high. Cal-in or cal-out must be off too. Love your determination though!!
