Been reading through this group and have to say @kelbels1 you are an amazing OP and facilitator!! What a wonderful gift you are giving of yourself! I'm a 60 year young gal and revamped my health over the past 9 months (down 30+ lbs and strength is up:). I let my weight inch-up over the decades and realized (finally) thatβ¦

Hi All, I'm still on holiday, and all routines are off. I'm amazed that I'm staying on track though!! π€ My calories are definitely up, but so is my daily exercise (bicycling and rowing a lot). So, all-in-all I'm staying on track and even gaining a little momentum. I hit my challenge weight this morning, so I'll push forβ¦

Slow and steady wins the race. You got this!

Nice downward progress! Congrats...π

πππ Headed down. Great job!!

I pondered that question last challenge (go super restrictive or stay the course). I ultimately went with stay the course because I've learned that if I'm too restrictive I end up binging. π¬ Either way we're all cheering for you!!

But it is going down! Love your determination to keep going!!

Hi All, I'm on holiday, so all routines are off. π¬ Tracking calories best I can and weighing in regularly too (we're RV camping and I brought my food scale and bathroom scale). Aside from campfire s'mores occasionally I'm doing pretty good. π€ I'm not getting my regular weight training in, but I am bike-riding andβ¦

Allowed myself a s'more on vacation today. Enjoyed it, logged it, and carried on:) No guilt, no remorse, and no spiral down the binge hole!!

Saw this and had to share it!

Yay... Pretty good week. Not perfect, but better than last week. I got all my weight training sessions in and lost some inches too!! I discovered riced cauliflower, which took me to all the pre-shredded bags of vegies. All I do is pop them in the microwave for a couple of minutes, drizzle with liquid amonios and BAM - aβ¦

Great ideas!! I absolutely love the "NOT BRING ANYTHING HOME" rule. Now that's what I call heathy boundaries!! Thank You. π€

Wow!!! Now that's my kind of cooking. π Thank You.

Went to a house concert last night and a friend I hadn't seen in months walked up to me from across the room and said "you look ravishing". She went on to list all my "ravishing" qualities! Bam π₯ I'll be riding high on that one for awhile. π ravΒ·ishΒ·ing (raviSHiNG): adjective delightful; entrancing. "she looked ravishing"β¦

That is such a wonderful story! Congrats on your accomplishments.

That is a tough one for sure! I've got a road trip coming up and trying to think of some creative good-for-me food. I'll bring an ice chest and my scale for sure! I thought about bags of steamer vegetables that I can cook in gas station microwaves (love them at home with a little liquid aminos drizzled on them - soβ¦

So cool! How long did it take to achieve that?

Crazy how our minds trick us! Good for you!!

Oh my gosh!!!! I was so hungry today.π Thinking about going to bed early so I don't blow it and start eating. π€·ββοΈ

Sweet potato toast recipe please:)

Adequate sleep is also super important. When we get too little or poor quality sleep, we are hungrier the next day (trying to get more energy from food to compensate). How's your sleep been?

I started a similar thread and got a lot of fantastic input. One thing in particular that seems to be helping a lot is front-loading evening snack calories (I tend to overeat in the evenings after a good day otherwise). I just log 250 extra calories with breakfast and then work with that total the rest of the day. I oftenβ¦
