Wow, look what you accomplished!! Great job!!

I hate shopping!! But... for the first time in years I was forced to go because my belt was out of holes and my clothes were literally falling off me. π€£ So with my cart over-loaded as usual ('normally' I'd have to try a dozen items to find one that fit), I entered the dreaded hall of mirrors. OMG, I was down two sizes andβ¦

Wow, that is fantastic! Solid work!!

My bronchitis is still lingering, but about 90% better this week. I missed a whole week of my strength training too; I had to listen to my body. So numbers this week have more to do with careful CICO counting than exercise. But hey, I'll take it where I can get it!! Also, I did a little clothes shopping while in town afterβ¦

You guys are all rocking it - even if the scale has gone up some. Yes, up and downs happen to EVERYONE, but not everyone sticks with it through the rough patches. Give your selves a big pat on the back for hanging in there!! ππππ

Thinner Leaner Stronger by Mike Matthews It's an amazing book and program with a journal you can order.[/quote] Ooh, gonna check it out. Thanks...

Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm facing same issue. I'll give it a try!πͺ

You lost a lot of mental baggage!! Clearly, you've worked hard and now enjoying the pay-off. Congratulations!!

This!! Always been a outdoorsy, athletic, go-getter person, but gained enough weight over the decades to lose that edgy look (and feel). At 60 years young, I'm down 25 lbs (with 10 to go) and strength training to lean-out and bulk-up. I'm starting to feel my strong self again and love it. No turning back!! ποΈββοΈ

Wow, great progress in a short amount of time!!

TLS?? You look awesome! Very inspiring -Thanks for sharing!

Sounds like you're determined. ππ Eggs and cheeses are another high cal low carb option. I also love the little cans of tuna for a quick satisfying snack. Also there are a few threads on here that might give you ideas: one about 'snacks', one called 'calorie counting 101', and another about 'obese to 6 pack, ask meβ¦

I love that you're journaling! It helps to hold our inner-selves accountable too. π€ Also, only one binge night vs three the prior week is great work!!ππ

Wow, what a week!! Only got one workout in before allergies hit hard and morphed into bronchitis. π£ Still, I think my healthy base built on good diet, exercise and rest kept me from hitting rock bottom. I'm already feeling better (70%) and looking forward to getting back to my strength training. So, as expected from notβ¦

I love how the body shape changes sooo much even when weight doesn't. Thanks for sharing your great accomplishment - very inspiring!!

Also, adding exercise will stimulate your appetite and get your system moving!

Weighing everything is super important and really easy. You might be getting more than you realize. If you're already doing that, peanut butter is a great high calorie high protein snack to have with apples, rice cakes, celery etc. I envy you in that I struggle to keep my count down!π€¦ββοΈ

Sicker than a dog!! Day 4 fluish congestion - yuck. I hope I don't lose too much hard earned muscle!

Emotional eating is a challenge for me too. I think half the battle is being aware that I do it. The other half is being aware in-the-moment! Keep going. π

What a great goal!

So impressive - MFP since 2011. Very inspiring to stick with it!
