  • TK maxx - all the nice brands for 30-50% off. Or Decathlon, they have nice things too for not much. Definitely not Sports Direct just hate the shop.
  • I have a Charge 1 and it started doing that too a few months back when I was driving the car. You can (de)activate the exercises you want it to automatically detect. So I've done that with outdoor bike. I never ride a bike so I don't need it to log it.
  • L1D1 done on Sunday. Will do D2 today. Should have done it first thing this morning but have been putting it off. Will do it before I pick up the kids from school - which leaves me 2,5h ;-) I'm combining it with running, trying to get to 10K in July. So will be alternating each day between the two.
  • Stronglifts yesterday. Did my squats warm-up set and started my sets at 40kg (85lbs). First time at this weight. The first 2 reps felt more or less ok but I could feel I was bending forward on the 3rd and 4th rep, didn’t even attempt a 5th. Up comes a trainer from the gym with another guy saying I should deload and work on…
  • Apparently if you post a message from you phone and include a smiley everything that follows the smiley is not posted. 2nd time this happened. Anyway I was not happy with him just sitting and staring there.
  • SL yesterday and today. Yesterday was not a good day, felt very tired (cleaning all day Saturday and late n'aimer night). Couldn't make it through any of the sets and could only think about crawling in a corner and sleep. So went back today after loading up on brown rice and chicken and it all went much better: Squat: 5…
  • Me, since last week 130P 160C 60F Not sure we have the same goals, large(r) cut here ;-)
  • Stronglifts yesterday Squats: 1x10 x 20kg / 1x5 x 30kg / 4/4/4/4/5 x 37.5kg – first time at this weight Bench: 1x5 x 20kg / 5x5 x 25kg – felt surprisingly ok – happy to be able to move up Rows: 5x5 x 30kg – felt heavy but made it! Did some extras: glute bridges: 3x8 x 22.5kg leg press: 5x5 x 137.5kg If husband get home at…
  • @fanncy0626 - that's really great! I started IIFYM 3 weeks ago and am not really seeing the results I was hoping for. I'm eating 1925cal which feels too high and I'm not losing either on the scale or in size. But all I read is "trust the process". I think I'll drop some carbs and go to 1800 from tomorrow and see how that…
  • SL today Squat 1x5 20kg - 1x5 30 kg 5-4-4-5-5 35kg - felt wobbly so another few weeks here I think Bench 1x5 20kg - 5x5 22.5kg. Felt good but when I tried to go up with 2.5kg last time I just couldn't lift the bar more than a couple of times. DL: 2x5 40kg / 2x5 47.5kg Should have done rows today but forgot my phone so…
  • Hi ladies, can I join? Have been lurking for a few months now ;-) and I feel I need to share my journey and don’t have anyone in the real world that’s interested. Started SL last year but only did it for a month or so. Restarted 13 January and planning on keeping it going. Also following IIFYM (1925cal-125P-210C-65F) so…
  • Started stronglifts a few weeks ago. Add me ;-)
  • I am on week 3 and was very imtimidated / scared too. I found a personal trainer. He started me on some general strength exercises for 2-3 weeks which I repeated a few more times a week on my own in the gym and he learned me proper from for squats but not the strong lifts program to begin with. He didn't want to put a 20kg…
  • It's 61 now but Fitbit tells me it's more often 68 36y female
  • Yes, London. On the way to a new me since 3 weeks
  • Hi Kezz Same here. I've been reading a lot about heavy lifting, looked at the videos and got the book Strong curves. It looks like it's something I would really enjoy but going to the gym and actually doing it seems so daunting. I've even looked at getting all the stuff in the house just to avoid having to ask but then the…
  • It's strange how when you're not on a diet or tracking your food you just eat the same thing no problem. But when you're paying attention suddenly it all has to be new, non-boring, interesting etc. I used to eat bread with Nutella daily as long as I can remember for breakfast, didn't bother me. But now for some reason it…
  • I started last Thursday. Cut my calories to 1200 and did 10k steps/day and some extra exercise (nothing extreme) and have lost 2,3kg which is 5lbs. So yes I think it's possible. I'm going to a white dress summer party in 23 days and hope to lose another 6-7lbs. I'm 5"4 and and 158lbs
  • Mine is set at 1200. Can't remember if I did it or mfp. It's do-able just have to think about what to eat but never really felt hungry more just "wanting" something. Some days there's room for a treat (Beglain chocolate :-)) somethimes there isn't. I have extra calaories from fitness and walking but I don't tend to each…
