  • If you feel the need for a "cheat day," I would simply eat at your maintenance level rather than the caloric deficit level. This way you don't gain true weight (some water weight maybe...) but that way you don't go crazy but can splurge just a little. I wouldn't do it every week necessarily, maybe once a month or so?
