  • Nice, I've been that way quite a few times. Stay usually in the Cincinnati area, on the river. Good times!!!
  • There we go!! Good to meet you all:) I'm from Van Wert which is about an hour and a half from Toledo and only 30 mins from Indiana state line. My daughter will actually be a Rocket next fall, yeah!! Hope all of you are doing well on your life change. It's a struggle for all of us or we wouldn't be using MFP but it is so…
  • Wow, looks like I need to be following all of you!! I am 5'2" SW 204, CW 167. I would just love to maintain around 150lbs. Which yes I know is still over what I should be but I've always been bigger and feel that if I would get down to 110-120 I wouldn't be myself. Over the last month or two I haven't seen much change on…
  • 4 ingredient banana pancakes (egg, banana, baking soda and cinnamon) with strawberry, blueberry, peach fruit salad, Yumm!!!
  • Garmin VivoFit 1 or 2. If you are able to splurge get a good one. Garmin Vivofit will do all that you want. I have not taken mine off since I got it in February except to cook (like cut chicken) and when I upgraded to version 2. Syncs with MFP, waterproof, no charging required. Runs on a watch battery so when the battery…
  • Thank you!!!:)
  • How and where do I weigh in
  • Count me in please!
  • Asics are my favorite, love the look of a lot of Nike but they can't compare with the comfort!
  • Curious as to how my body, hunger and energy will respond to working 3 nights then off 2, working 3, off 2,working 2 then off 2. Crazy how we nurses work!! Typical 3rd shift say in a factory is straight 5 nights then off for 2. How do you feel when your schedule is so back and forth. I was an LPN for about 4 years and then…

  • Makes sense thanks for the feedback-great ideas. I've done 3rd shift years ago and think I put on the most weight during that time because your right you tend to be more hungry, starving for energy. Thanks a bunch!!

  • Absolutely LOVE LOVE my Garmin VivoFit!!!! It sets a step goal, tells you how many steps you've taken, how many more to your goal, time, date and calories. Fitbit you have to look on your phone, VivoFit tells you on its screen. No charging it, water proof, just sync it to your phone once a day which takes 15 seconds. Also,…
  • LOVE LOVE LOVE, my Vivofit!!!!!

  • Thanks for all the input!! I am not a diabetic and have no health issues. Maybe just a mental thing to look at my daily goals and see that of all things my SUGAR goal has gone over, of course if it were protein I probably wouldn't think anything of it but since we are all here to eat healthier, feel better and lose some…
  • Congrats, that is awesome!!!!
  • Just recently was able to graduate to black coffee. Thought the same way you do, no way I could drink coffee with out my flavored cream and sugar before. Cut back slowly is what I had to do and it did take a while :)
  • Thanks for the chart, a lot of useful info!!!
  • OMG!!!! Love it:) that had me cracking up, not because of your embarrassment but because that would absolutely be something I would do. I think you were fine with the 50ft.
  • Sometimes I like to weigh myself in kilograms because the number is much smaller. Although I do know what the conversion is, at first glance it's better than triple digits.
  • Thanks!! I do try to stop by 7pm - really just preference and a little because I thought it would help. I work crazy hours sometimes 6-6p or 7-5p and then busy with 4 kids (3 teenagers who are in sports) and husband, house etc... You get the picture;) so sometimes just even eating right is challenging enough. I so badly…

  • One of the posts noted that she uses the Garmin Vivofit to help track activity, I also use a Vivofit and absolutely love it. I did many reviews on others such as Fitbit etc. but Vivofit was the one for me. It's not to big and bulky to wear, water proof so I literally wear it 24/7, has a small screen so I can see everything…
  • Thanks so much for all your advice :)

  • I'm going to have to be very creative! I am just starting again(day 3 tracking with the app) to be as healthy as I can be. Actually I should say healthy and HAPPY. I'm about 50-60lbs overweight and I so badly want to be successful and have the energy I used to have. I'm not looking to be a size 2, just feel better. It…

  • Extremely picky! Does not like fruits or veggies. He's more of a processed food and cheese guy (a lot of cheese). Thanks so much for your suggestions. I think I will ask him to pick a meal or 2 for the week and then include him in meal prep. I might even try mushrooms if it means he will eat a little better. Thanks again:)
