So... my scale broke. I bought a new one and it has me 6 pounds heavier than my old broken one. I know I haven't actually gained any weight, but it's thrown all my goal numbers off and discouraged me so I'm going to restart my 12 weeks tomorrow with new goals and try to get re-motivated.

If you're changing (losing in my case) weight, do you calculate based on current weight, goal weight, or something in-between? Since I'm dropping fairly rapidly rn does that mean that next week I should eat less protein than this week?

You can eat chocolate cake for breakfast and lose weight if you stay under your calorie goal. Carbs don't matter. Macros matter in that they will make you feel better and gain muscle mass, but for pure weight loss, you could eat 1500 calories of milkshakes and candy and drop the pounds.

I'm in college and I use the Athletic Center, so either $0 a month or about $5,000 a month, depending on how you want to calculate it. That comes with 2 pools, standard gym equipment, some classes, and a giant beautiful campus with miles of walking paths.

Your body naturally burns over 2,000 (assuming the numbers you gave on here are accurate and your MFP account is set to sedentary) calories each day.
