I love all Jillian Michaels videos. The only issue I have is the repetitiveness of the workouts. I use a variety of her videos during the week/month to try and keep the workouts interesting and different.

Tennis, bike rides with kids and hiking....

I've found that I'm more likely to snack the closer I am to the kitchen. After dinner I'll move upstairs and watch TV in our loft or in my bedroom. It's much more of an effort to have to go downstairs for a snack. Also as others have mentioned I have my favorite low-calorie snack if I can't resist the urge.

I'm a huge night time snacker. After dinner I go upstairs for the evening; as far away from the kitchen as possible. Also I try to keep low calorie snacks on hand in case I have to have something. My favorite is air popped popcorn.

Anything to do with nuts. I know it's healthy fat, but so not interested in eating peanut or almond anything! Not a fan of kale either; I've used it in smoothies a couple times but can't imagine eating it in a salad.

I have a 32 oz coffee with half a cup of sugar free vanilla creamer. The creamer adds 120 calories, but it's totally worth it!!!

I've actually just started on her beginner 30 day shrewd. I have her 30 day shread and I've done it before. I just wanted to ease into Jillian this time around

@lemurcat12 Like many people her I'm on a mission to lose weight and try and live a healthier lifestyle. I come to the community boards to gain motivation for my journey and ideas on how to make my overall plan better. I understand you may want to have a conversation and understand where others are coming from however when…

Fitting into my size 10 work pants. Jumped up to a 12 recently and can't find a pair that fits right. Once I see what weight makes me a size 10 I'll make a new goal :)
-
That is dedication!!

@lemurcat12 I'm not sure how to respond to your post as I'm not sure what response your looking for. I'm a long time lurker on mfp and time after time I've seen this type of thread go south. I think someone else in the thread also mentioned this topic is a trigger. I was just sharing that view with OP and then shared MY…

@singingfluetlady yes there are many definitions of "clean eating", but I was pointing out how threads like this often dissolve into sarcasm and are ultimately unhelpful. Do you disagree??
-
You can't ask that type of question here  It's all about calorie counting and meeting you specific calorie goal to lose weight. From my reading here on the forums this type of post results in unhelpful comments that lean toward sarcasm. I will share that I feel better overall when incorporating more fruits and…

My initial goal is to fit into my size 10 pants. I'm into a size 12 pants and they only fit me in the waist; legs and bum area way too big and doesn't look good at all. Now that I'm on the path of within calorie limit and exercising to loose pounds I'm envisioning a flat belly and toned up legs and arms. Hopefully progress…

6 days a week is totally fine; like previous posters have said, find what works for you. I mix up my workouts just to keep from getting bored. I have tennis once a week, do zumba once or twice a week and do my Jillian videos in the comfort of my own home. If your worn out it doesn't hurt to take another day off during the…

Day 5 40 seconds done!! You can absolutely join the challenge. I think today most people are on day 6 which is the rest day so they won't be posting. Just start on Day 1 and log here.
-
Congratulations!!! An amazing accomplishment!
-
The days when I go way over calories I just don't even log it because I know it'll make me feel worse to see how much I went over. I just move on and start over the next day. Like everyone above has said; it's a long game and you really have to look at averages for the week not just a single day. Having one or even two bad…

I second bag of veggies, greek yogurt, gronola bars.

Level 1 day 4 complete. I'm not doing the Jillian videos exclusively because I like to mix it up. Did a nice 5 mile hike this weekend and a killer Zumba class. Took Monday off as a rest day and missed out on Tuesday work out due to just being too tired. I'll most likely stick to Level 1 through the next week. At the…

Missed a couple days so I'm a little behind  Day 3 & 4 done 30 seconds each time. I'll combine day 5 & 6 tomorrow and be caught up!!

Awesome!!! Very inspiring to see others succeed!!!

Day 2 - 30 seconds Done!!

I would track the soda because it is something you are consuming during your weight loss journey. I would track it as soda and not water because I would want to know exactly what I consumed that day. You could have weeks where you are consuming diet soda every day and then the next week you only drink water. If you log…

Did my Jillian video for the evening and now just surfing web and watching tv. Nothing too exciting!
