Definitely...he eats 5 times a day! :D

Maybe if you lost a limb? Otherwise not likely.

Close call..but I think I got this one beat

Tempting...but that's a no from me.

I wish spot reduction was a possibility, unfortunately doesn't work that way. From the chest up my body looks amazing, legs are lean, the belly not so much. All you can do is keep doing up with your diet and exercise and it'll eventually work its way off. Cutting alcohol is a great first step. You don't have to go cold…

I'd stick with Jack and diet coke. If whiskey isn't your style Spiced Rum and diet coke tastes great

This thread is old, but there's a lot of activity and thought it best I clear up my original post as to not construe newcomers. I can see how it's a bit misleading. Before watching my carbs I tried to keep my calories around 1200 a day and weight just wouldn't budge. Back in October/November I found out I'd need a hip…

Those days I use a massage roller to roll away the stiffness before heading out to the gym. Even then I do a nice slow warm up to get the muscles nice and loose.

Only have about 13 more pounds to go to reach my goal. Definitely been a struggle, but seeing positivity in my feed helps. Feel free to add me as well

Can't go wrong with a taco salad, just don't eat the deep fried shell.

Not necessarily, I cut carbs but raised the amount of calories. After the surgery exercise was nearly non existent except for PT. High protein, high fats, low carbs. Weight went down, muscle stayed. Only started running and weight lifting again about 2 weeks ago. Not saying there wasn't a deficit all along, just saw…

Nov 2017 I found out i'd need surgery. weighted 225lbs. Started cutting carbs and exercising more and dropped to 205lbs by February 2018. Don't exercise as much as I use to (only once or twice a week now) and am now down to 183lbs. Muscle mass stayed. No doubt I dropped a lot of water weight, vascularity w/ the new diet is…

Wish I could "run" again. Had a hip replacement 6 months ago and the best I can do is jog (5-6mph) for 20 minutes at a time now. That said...I have cut my carbs drastically and lost some decent amount of weight. Not a doctor or self-proclaimed diet expert, but I think there may be something behind cutting carbs. Somehow I…

I struggled with losing weight for quite a while despite watching my calories and exercising religiously. Ever since I started counting carbs instead, the weight pretty much melted off even though I couldn't exercise as often.
-
Even though I stayed under my calorie goal my weight would barely budge or go down. Once I started counting my carbs and ignoring calories, i was eating more than I was before and higher calories, but my weight finally started to drop.

Couldn't agree more!

I was always an avid beer and whiskey drinker. Had to cut cold turkey for a surgery. Was able to drop 15lbs in 1-2 months just buy ditching the alcohol. Now I'll only have a couple drinks at social gatherings, otherwise won't keep it in the house for temptation. Might be other factors that played a role, but cutting the…

I tried that but found myself hungry again within an hour. Couldn't sustain it for longer than a week. I did drop 4 pounds though w/ Slim Fast Shakes in a week. (Gained it back immediately)

That's pretty tough to do at the same time, you should either focus on cutting, or focus on bulking one at a time. Since you're trying to cut fat (13-15lbs) I'd say focus on a calorie deficit and continue weight lifting/exercise till you get down. Once you're there focus on packing back the weight with muscle (more…

Most guys ego lifting at the gym get offended when you try to give them advice. I once gave a younger kid advice and even showed him the correct form, all I got in return was the death stare

I work M-F 7-4pm. I'm at the gym every morning 4am before work, and go again straight after work to fit in some cardio . It's hard getting up, but a preworkout drink beforehand definitely helps me through the workout. Honestly the hardest part is just walking out the door, once I'm there I'm pumped. Words can't describe…

I tried Hydroxycut a few years back. And YES it worked (dropped 8lbs in one week). BUT...the second I stopped using it all that weight came back, despite keeping the same workout routine and healthy eating. For that reason I haven't touched a diet pill since. Your best bet is to steer clear of diet pills and just do it…

My wife and I tried juicing a while back. But barely getting a full days worth of juice out of $60 of veggies and fruits was a huge turn off. Most people don't realize that all the good "stuff" is in the pulp, so good for you for adding them back in!

I have pictures on my computer at home and will try to remember to load them a little later. I weighed 275 when I was 18. Joined the gym while I was in college, by the the time I graduated at age 21 I was down to 155lbs! I didn't have any "loose skin" but it was stretchy. my body looked tight with no sagging skin, however…

Congrats on the weight loss so far. Using Myfitnesspal to track calories definitely helps. I was stuck at 210 for months...and that's with me going to the gym everyday! Every since I received the reality check of measuring food everything has changed. Already down in the 180's. Stick to it and you'll see great results too!

I use a Jawbone Up...but it's my third one within a year. The other two were defective and replaced by Jawbone Support. I bought a Jawbone Up for my wife...the second REPLACMENT for hers has to be sent back already (only been 3 weeks). :/ Jawbone's are cheap, but with my experience horrible. Between my wife and I we have…

Thanks for the advice everyone. I'm going to ditch the honey (that's 60 calories I can put to better use).
-
My thoughts as well, just want sure if there are any beneficial nutrients in honey (natural) vs processed sugars

I had to buy a food scale after being sticker shocked by serving sizes. Makes a huge difference
