Visceral and belly fat are not the same thing. Visceral is deep & around your organs. I believe it goes away fairly quickly compared to other areas. And no, you can't target which area of the body the fat comes from. If you have lost X number of pounds, that still does not tell us what your body fat percentage is. If you…

I agree with that too.

It is most likely mental... not actually starvation pains. I regularly eat meals of 200-300 calories without feeling hungry. It gets better once you get in the habit. I also regularly snack on carrots, celery, etc I do agree with several others about the water consumption too. It helped me in the beginning to kill a full…

Portion control makes everything better. No matter which dressing you use, cut the portion in half or two thirds. Vegetables taste great naked too.

Based on your size and age, that should be fine.

I looked back further in your diary and have some more thoughts. I do not believe you are logging everything you eat. Also, some of the things entered are not accurate. I know first hand that MFP can give you incorrect information that must be verified. I saw one day where you had two entries for the same thing in one day…

I'm not trying to be rude, but your nutrition is terrible. You need to eat healthy, not sh**. Try cutting out or limiting the terrible protein shakes (I have one bar split before and after my workout on lifting days). Generally they are not good nutrition. Quit starving yourself. Eat small meals or snacks every 2.5-3…

!00% correct

I do not do cheat days. Occasionally I make a mistake: am forced to eat out by my poor planning, it is the one day a month my boss buys us doughnuts, or the meals just landed on the heavy side when totaled up. I will suck it up and move on. I do not let it get me down. But also, I do not plan ahead to fail by having cheat…

To answer the original question, most of my meals are less than 200 calories. Limit carbs, limit sugars, portion CONTROL. I could give you specific meals but the OP is not ready for that.

I know, right? The amount of food I have to consume in order to lose weight is utterly terrifying. The first time I quit restricting calories, I lost 50 lbs. But I couldn't keep it up. It is hard work to eat enough; I just got tired of eating all the time. Plus there's that whole "who wants to feed something that is so…

Get a new job.

Measurements are important along the way. Take a picture NOW. Read alot online and at the library. I had a book from the library called "workouts with weight" S. Karony that was a good intro. "Core performance" Verstegen is also really good. I am thinking simple to start so I would say a modified form of Stronglifts 5x5…

Agree. Look at the diary... scary.

I thought it was pretty reasonable. I do not understand your objection. However the original post was ridiculous and did not need a tenth of the words in reply.

I was trying to form words for my reply, but this says it all...

Can YOU show some evidence that it is false??

Been there... hang in. Our children are awesome!!

Got mine at "Five Below" for 5 bucks. Foam rollers are AWESOME.

Cutting carbs just helps greatly reduce your calories. (I'm not even going to touch Keto). Do not over-think it, just cut the calories. I allow myself more carbs on lift days and fewer on cardio days.

"Only" 450 calories?? Most of my meals are less than 200 calories.

Before MFP, 9 pounds lost. After MFP, 20 pounds lost in half the time.

Just saw your new profile pic... >salute<

You do not need a motivator other than yourself. You are doing great so far.

I avoid protein shakes and bars as much as I can but I do use them selectively on lift days. I use C as well selectively to help ward off colds and sinus problems. I take a mix on cardio days but I add fish oil and extra calcium on lift days. I often let a day slip where I take nothing. This helps my body adjust.

Obviously that is untrue.
