All working now. Had to uninstall/re install mfp.

Great thank you! So should I add calories burnt through exercise manually or leave it off?
-
Ooh not sure. It’s now added in a few. Something to do with adjustment?
-
Bit of help pls. Pacer has been adding calories into mfp until yesterday. Any ideas what’s gone wrong? Still adds the steps. Thanks!

Thank you everyone!! Especially for your supportive and encouraging words. I’m loving it! Only ever did treadmill running but prefer this. I’ve linked Pacer and Strava. I just didn’t want to overestimate.

Thanks!
-
Thank you. I have Strava but can’t link that.

'I might have been drinking more wine and eating more carbs in the evening lately but surely that can't be it?' I think this could be it. Perhaps you've eaten and drunk more than you think?
-
Thanks everyone. Back on the treadmill I go! Have a great day.
-
Thanks for your replies. Any other advice on what I should change if anything, to combat this?
-
Prob slight increase in carb intake.

I have the same frustrations. Goes up and down by the pound or stays the same for days! It's normal (unfortunately!)
-
Thank you all for your ongoing support. I have upped my calories to no lower than 1200 including calories burned from exercise. I'm aiming to get nearer 1400 when poss.
-
Thank you all. For me it's the frustration that I'm getting smaller but wonder why that's not reflecting in the scales? My husbands on a diet too and so keeps the scales out in the bathroom and the temptation to weigh everyday is winning!! Also my weight can then go up by a pound! I've never experienced the scales doing…

Thanks! I've stuck to my 1200 today without exercise so I'm hoping I'll see a difference. I do enjoy working out, so I'll start eating half my exercise cals back and hopefully I'll start to see a difference.

I try not to weigh daily but I do! My weight fluctuates every few days by a pound or two. It can frustrating! But I know I'm losing inches, so I accept it and take it out on my kettlebells! ☺️

Thanks everyone. You've said what I pretty much thought. A friend of mine is going to start and I advised her to just EAT healthier!
-
I have opened up my diary (I think) so you could see where I could improve. As for losing inches and not pounds, I was just frustrated as to why weight isn't decreasing. It's always showed previously when I've 'dieted' before.

Thank you everyone for your advise. I will up my calories even though MFP recommended it. I do interval running on treadmill 2-3 times a week for 30 mins and kettleworx for 2-3 times a week - 20 mins. Can anyone advise what the ratio between Carbs v Fat v Protein should be please?
-
Thank you for the info and advise Jon. Good luck with your weight loss journey.

For me I can see I need to lose some fat around my belly and tops of my thighs. I used to be around the 9 stone weight but it's slowly crept back on this last year. I would appreciate anyone advising me what my calorie intake should be. Today's advise has helped me to keep the exercise up as I was disheartened with this…

Oh!! I've obviously set up my goals wrong on this app!! It's NOT a crash diet! I'm 5'2, I'm currently 9 stone 10 pounds. When I input this into the app under 'lightly active' it told me to be on 960 cals a day.

Thank you :) I should just throw the scales away!
