Welcome, best of luck! It’s my third time here and I’ve lost weight buefore but regained it. I know what went wrong the last two times and I’m determined to change things this time. We got this!!

Your core looks stronger for sure. Good progress!

Definitely listen to Flapjack--I did an extreme juice fast last year and I lost weight fast but then I regained all that and more in six months! I've since realized that it's better to do good food tracking and stay slow and steady. Eat fruits and veggies and go to the gym to strengthen my body and to be in better…

Today's NSV: no more in her thigh chafing!

Great thread, we often forget how far we've come and we compare ourselves to others but **the only person we can compare ourselves to is ourselves** This time last year I wasn't really committed to working out. As the holidays approached I knew what was going to happen and I was dreading it already. -I didn't really have…

Great job! Don't look back you've come so far!!!! :-)

These are really good results so far!

I was on a video conference call and a friend that hasn't seen me since early August noticed I look slimmer and healthier

This is me from 2012 to 2015. When I regained 20lbs I gave up and felt depressed and said "*kitten* it" and then a really tough year of work came through and just sent me through the roof to my highest weight ever. I regret not taking care of business faster. Even if I was at 220 I should have started to walk/count…

I started working out and counting calories in February and since I've one from 262 to 237. I hope to lose those 37 by January of next year. I'm near that halfway point of my weigh loss goal where things look daunting still but you have some perspective on all the hard work you've put in. It's humbling to be in the middle…

I'm going to need a new belt soon! I'm on the last notch and its loose already :-) it's been at least two years since I had to buy a smaller belt.

Can't wait to go down one pant size! The options just get better as you go lower.

Thanks!

Congrats on this NSV. Can't wait to pull out a few things from my closet and show them off too!!

Omg I have a suitcase full of thinspirarions... Well, mostly clothes from two years ago when I re-gained 40lbs. I'll post pictures as soon as I start fitting in them again--I AM DETERMINED! I WILL BE A SIZE 36 BY JANUARY 23 (my 30th bday) Your post is so inspiring keep up the good work and that dress looks great by the way!

Great job!

Today I won't go over my planned meals with sweets, alcohol or junk food.

Really great points you make. Congrats for your success and yes, MFP4LIFE

When I started in February (was at 262lbs) I couldn't sit down without unbuttoning my pants. Was considering shopping for size 42s. Now that we're in June (I'm at 244.5lbs) I can sit comfortably with my size 40s and all my clothes fit well. NSV: all clothes fit and I need a new belt! The ones I have are too big. Next goal:…

I love new clothes NSVs because 1. You FEEL great because something that didn't fit before fits 2. You LOOK great in new clothes and 3. You reward yourself because you deserve it. 3/3 can't beat that!

I think we need more motivational laughs haha! Have a good week everyone.

That is a great attitude to take :-)

Honey you rock that dress!!! And that hair!

Great story. Congrats Steve!

Similar feeling. I got a jawbone bracelet and when I first got it I used to reach the third hole on the little belt, now I'm on the fourth and it looks like I'll be on the fifth next month. Might have something to do with stretching the rubber but also the weight I'm sure.

Just sent you an invite

Will add!

@Lasmartchika LOLOLOL!!! And yes. Shopping for clothes sucks. A few years ago I went down one pant size and it made such a big difference. I've gained the weight since but just started working out again. I still remember the rush I felt back then when I found nice clothes that fit me well. That's one of the things driving…

This is exactly what was going through my head on my 29th birthday this past January. At a size 40 I had to unbutton my pants when I sat down and I thought: "ENOUGH". I've felt so insecure throughout my teens and 20s. I've been bullied and hurt. I've stopped myself from living because of my weight. For example, swimming. I…

Oh wow! I totally know what you mean about the newfound confidence once you take control of your life and your diet. Maybe I won't be singing in front of an arena, but I just might sing karaoke when I drop 17 pounds ;-)
