OP, thank you for posting. I am struggling with the same thing (incidentally, our workout routines are virtually identical, I run every other day and lift on the opposing days, five days a week). I hit maintenance last summer, and stayed there until recently but its like suddenly I can never be full and I constantly crave…

The radio keeps playing an advertisement for some product that says it will give you a flat stomach because the reason you don't have a flat stomach is because there is rotting food in your digestive tract that builds up over the years and this product will rid you of the rotting food bloating your stomach. lol Six pack…

Lately I have been using hummus as a spread in place of Miracle Whip or mayonnaise on my sandwiches so they aren't dry and I get the extra-filling protein and fiber in the hummus whereas mayonnaise has no protein or fiber. I also like the greek yogurt as sour cream.

I feel the same way! I'm 30, 5'5", have lost about 50 pounds, and I starve on anything less than 2000 calories per day. I have been maintaining at about 150 pounds for 6 months now but I feel like I am going to gain weight. I work out 5 days a week for 30 minutes. I'm scared I wont be able to stop eating so much if I start…

You and I have the same goal of losing 40 pounds. Feel free to look at my diary, even though I don't eat anywhere near perfect. The thing that saves me is getting extra calories on exercise days. When I only get 1200, I starve.

Beer butt chicken. (take a whole chicken, put a beer can in his "butt" stand him up on the grill, and cook for about an hour). can substitute with a can of ginger ale. Also, make up a large fruit salad (strawberries, kiwi, watermelon, cantaloupe or whatever you like) in a Tupperware bowl ahead of time and munch on that…

What everyone is saying is great advise, but it also kind of depends where you are at in your fitness journey. Did you just start eating at a deficit? If so, your body may simply just be adjusting. I know when I first started my diet, I was always hungry at first. After a couple of weeks though, my body adjusted and I…

I eat back nearly all my exercise calories. That really helps. My rest days from exercise are Friday and Monday and I allow myself a cheat day on Fridays, so Mondays are the only day I am actually only eating 1200 calories. And I starve that day lol. 1200 calories is very hard. I would much rather exercise and get more.

I'm having the same problem. I have started to make myself log EVERYTHING, like my coffee creamer. I hate to see the calories in the red so that helps me. Maybe hang a bikini you want to get into or some short-shorts you want to wear this summer or a picture of yourself at your thinnest on the fridge to remind you every…

That's your guilty secret? My binges would be closer to "Opps, did I just eat that family sized bucket of lard???". lol

Most people seem to have a sugar addiction but mine is salty, greasy food. Chips, pizza, cheeseburgers and such. I go over on my sodium almost every day, even if I stay in my calories. Also, I let myself cheat on Fridays, and sometimes it gets ridiculous lol.

I'm not as addicted as you describe, I don't eat tomatoes every day, but when they are in season where I live, I uesd to eat them so much I broke out in hives. Took me several years to figure out why I was getting hives. Apparently some people do that when they eat too many tomatoes. So now I have to limit myself :(
