  • Thanks for the recommendation! I bought the paperback so I could write in it and flag pages. Almost halfway. It definitely helps me understand my naturopath better. Can only fit so much in a half hour session.
  • Restarting the LCHF woe this year again. Hit a hard point back in the summer and finally getting back on track. New year, new start! Feel free to add me. :)
  • Welcome! PCOS sucks, but we'll get through it together!
  • Well I sent an email to one place as they were closed after lunch to get more information. I have no idea what to expect and not really sure what everything they do, especially regarding PCOS. I'm not exactly prepared to book an appointment just yet. The first one is 195 here and I'm in Alberta. There was another place but…
  • I'm so glad my mastiff x is with lab. Enough energy to go on a decent walk, but she's tired after 30 minutes! We're both working on our endurance since she got injured last June and we had to stop our nightly walks. I hope to be doing walk/jogs by this June.
  • Too funny! Haha

  • I have the same incentive! Every night at about 8:30 after dinner she stares and "says to me" (whining, light growling) that it's time to go!
  • Thank you so much for sharing this. I bought the book and I completely understand LCHF a whole lot better. I have a hard time sticking to something if I can't understand the reasonings and the 'how it works' components behind it. But this easily explains it and has allowed me to start an actual really low carb (20g or…
  • Does anyone know where you can buy Walden Farms products in Canada? It doesn't seem worth it buying online when shipping is 3x as much as the product itself. I've wanted to try some of their BBQ sauces. Thanks.
  • I've been doing the low carb high fat since February and I'm loving the results so far. :) anybody is free to add me!
  • Need some friends for challenges. Have had my charge since February and love it, but don't know anyone who has one to do any of the challenges. https://www.fitbit.com/user/2Y3XM7
  • Hi deagerth, just click on someone's username and it will take you to their profile. You'll see a little person with a plus sign. Just click on that!
  • Hi K8! When I first started I was looking online to see how low carb I should go. I found that they recommended 30-40% of your daily intake should be carbs when going low carb. And that's only if you don't want to do the EXTREME low carb. I love carbs too much so that's what I did. I just altered my goals on here to 30%…
  • Hello. I was diagnosed in December with obese PCOS and started my weight loss journey in January (my doctor gave me Christmas, thank goodness). I've lost about 7 lbs so far which is super exciting as I've always struggled with my weight. I am insulin resistant as well and my doctor recommended Paleo diet or just low carb.…
  • Hi Hannah. I was diagnosed with PCOS in December and it is definitely a lifestyle change to lose the weight. Since about mid January I've lost 4lbs. :) For me I need to do it in small steps to keep with it. In January I decided to stop drinking pop and only eat whole wheat pasta, brown rice, and non white bread. I also…
  • Hi! I'm in the same boat need some friends for motivation. I just started using MFP again in January, and got a fitbit for my birthday so I'm hoping that will help me with my goal. :) I'd like to get down to 200 lbs by end of June, so that's 30 lbs in 5 months? I think I can do it! Just need the motivation. Feel free to…
