I have a friend that told me her vegan Dr told her that people with type O+ blood do not do well without meat. I don't know if it is true or not but the only one in our family who feels worse eating vegetarian or vegan is my husband and he is 0+.

I had gastric sleeve 8/15/17. I can usually get my water in, but struggle to get my protein in. I mostly eat vegetarian. Most meat sits like a rock in my stomach. I can drink protein shakes, but not whey based shakes. I just began the couch 2 5K app to begin running a little over a week ago. Feel free to add me.

I eat plant based most days, I do eat fish and dairy sometimes and other meat on rare occasion. My Dr and nutritionist are not big on eating vegetarian but I feel much better when I do. I lost my Fitbit and forgot about using my phone. I will try and track with my phone tomorrow. I don't always carry it, I often leave it on a table while I work. I miss seeing how much I have moved during the day.

Saturday I was on the treadmill at midnight so part of my steps didn't count for Saturday- I only had 6498, but the rest of my walk counted on today and so far I have 13,148 for today. I should be able to get at least the 354 steps I need to make it 20,000 for the 2 days. (Saturday I slept until noon so everything happened…

I like the recipes I have tried from theppk.com and one of my friends loves the beet burger recipe on there. She says it tastes a lot like the veggie burger from The Cheesecake Factory. I have made the Island black bean burger from her "Isa Does It" cookbook and love it!
