  • I do scan most of what I eat and don't really check its logged correctly, I have noticed sometimes that when I scan sometimes it comes up as a completely different food or company. Will try and look into logging better. So if I stick to 1500 cals a day and not eat back calories I should loose weight?
  • Yeah that's true, I'm also trying too many different ways to loose weight...changing my daily calorie goal, a bit of 5-2, a bit 18-8 fasting, weight watchers, low carb high far, I think I'm struggling to find one that I'm happy with!! And changing each week is not helpful.
  • Thanks some good ideas... I'm 5'3 36yrs and I weigh 164 pounds, my only exercise is trying to do 1000 steps a day by using mfp step count, I do this by using my exercise bike and working 2 hrs a night cleaning, I have tried to do this everyday since starting my weight loss journey.

  • Yeah great idea, I get so confused about all these technical terms and I am so impatient!   • Sorry I'm clueless with all this...so I have just retained water because of a change in my body and if I still eat around 1500 I should still loose weight
  • So why? Don't get it, I have weeks where I stay the same but never put on, it's just weird as soon as I up cals, hopefully I will be back to what I was before weekend away then, will weigh again tomorrow.

  • I'm 5ft 3 and weigh 12st 11, so I need to loose 3 more stone really. I try to walk 10 thousand steps a day, go on a gentle bike ride a couple of times a week and I do have a two hour cleaning job every night, I don't do any heavy cadio or weight training, the more active I am the more calories my fit pal gives me.
  • Ok, thanks will try and work it out, I've been on 1200 calories a day, going over when my fit pal gives me more when I do more walking, been feeling so low in energy but when I up my calories I don't loose much weight...so annoying!

  • Ok thank you, I didn't think I was eating enough fat but I found it hard because I didn't feel hungry, but didn't think about adding cream to coffee that is a good idea, I'm so shocked at how quickly I started to crave food and want to eat all the time, it just proves that it is so much better for me.   • On average I'm having about 80g a day of carbs, I think I need to have more fat in my diet, how much would be enough? Thanks for the help!
