  • I'm getting a bit sick of counting calories, been doing it for just over a year and I have lost 5 stone, but for some reason I feel annoyed, I can't relax and enjoy my weight loss and go out as I'm constantly thinking about what I'm eating...I have to log everything every day as I'm too scared to trust myself. I need to…
  • I have a under active thyroid and I have lost 70lbs, taken me just over a year...got 11 lbs to go
  • Yeah I suppose your right, what about exercise cals should I NOT use them at first and maybe when my body is use to it then eat half back?
  • Yay just googled it! Have to drag to the left! Duh! Feel stupid! Thanks everyone!
  • Ahh that's where I'm going wrong...I use my phone! Have not got the Fitbit connected to my laptop as I never use it!
  • Ok I don't know how...can't see any option to delete!
  • Oh right didn't know I could, I have tried to see if I could delete an entry and I didn't think I could! Will have another look!
  • Yes it is connected to mfp and I only track food through mfp, it's not been that reliable for sleep tracking either but I can cope with that...it's seems to be a lot more generous with earned step cals as well! It hasn't helped at all with weigh loss really, mfp seems more accurate but I can't always have my phone with me
  • Hi, I'm 5'3...I started at 218 pounds, I have been walking 1000 steps and sticking to 1200 cals...I now weigh 151 pounds and still want to loose about 11 pounds..but every time I up my calories I put on!
  • I have lost nearly 5 stone eating 1200 cals and eating back cals according to mfp, sometimes I didn't but mfp has helped me to loose all this weight, it started to slow down so I got a Fitbit which hasn't really helped...so in the end I thought that I would try and up cals to see if this would make a difference and I…
  • How can I work out my TDEE, I find this very confusing
  • It's been about three months since I have lost weight I have been loosing a pound gaining a pound...between 2/3 pounds-so basically maintaining since then, and since I got my Fitbit! I think the Fitbit is being more generous with steps than mfp?? And also my Fitbit sometimes doubles my calorie intake which obviously shows…
  • You sound so much like me!!! I have finally uped my cals from 1200 to 1500...and I have lost three pounds in one week! Before this I have spent two months going up and down by 2/3pounds and it was driving me mad I was being so careful...think my body had just had enough of low cals so hopefully the weight loss will continue
  • I'm 5'3 and 154 lbs need to loose 20 or so more, add me
  • Same ish stats as me...do you loose weight eating 1500 cals? I've been on 1200 for a while now and loosing weight but seems to be slowing down
  • Thanks this was useful...I've been on 1200 cal for about a year and lost 63 lbs, still need to loose about 21 lbs, my weight is really stressing me out not really loosing as I will loose one week and gain the next, I'm sticking to cals and weighing everything, but I haven't actually lost weight since the beginning of Feb,…
  • I'm on 1200...only 5'2, 154 lbs, so about 21 lbs to go...have lost 63 lbs so far on 1200 cals
  • You can add me...in in uk, have lost 4 and half stone, got a stone and half to go
  • Hi, I'm 37yrs started at 15st 8 and now I weigh 10st 12...I'm 5ft 3 in size 10/12, I'm really trying to loose another stone, so have got a Fitbit now so hopefully that will help!
  • If I log food on Fitbit it's not syncing with mfp, is this possible?
  • Do you set goals on Fitbit or do you let the Fitbit set your goals because yesterday my Fitbit told me that I had gone over my food by 367 cals but on fitness pal it said that I had eaten 1.165 cals which is not over my calorie limit, should I just set a calorie limit on my Fitbit like I do with mfp?
  • Oh right, how do I do that then, I'm tracking food on both at the moment which is a pain, does the Fitbit use the same goals as my fitness pal then?
  • It's just that whenever people hear that I weigh 10'12 they all react the same and say that I don't look that weight! Which makes me feel like I'm over weight! Which I guess I am, I'm 5ft 3 and have a BMI of 26.9. In my head I was hoping to get down to 9 stone but I'm beginning to think that's not even possible! I must…
  • Thank you...had a blood test done the other day, nothing came back dodgy, asuming they checked these levels, she said she did a fasting blood test/thyroid...not sure if this test covers it. Its worth looking into, I'm a vegetarian so maybe this could have somethings to do with it but I have been for years now so who knows!…
  • What I don't get it mfp says for me to maintain by weight I would need to eat 1900 cals a day, so surly I should still lose
  • I'm 5.2 and weigh 11.7, I got down to 11,2 but then I uped my calories, to 1400 and I can't seem to loose on this. I normally log perfectly as I have done since January but I'm getting bored with it to be honest but I have had weeks where I have been perfect and still not lost, I just really wanted to know 1400 was too…
  • Hi, I have a dress that I brought that hangs up on my wardrobe and I see it everyday....it helped me to stay focused. I also had to find something to do that I enjoyed more than food so that I could stop thinking about what my next meal would be. I always blamed my husband for eating bad stuff around me and blamed him for…
  • I do scan most of what I eat and don't really check its logged correctly, I have noticed sometimes that when I scan sometimes it comes up as a completely different food or company. Will try and look into logging better. So if I stick to 1500 cals a day and not eat back calories I should loose weight?
