Thanks for the advice. Will give it a whirl.

Thanks for the responses. Very helpful. I've been back on the 1200 for three months and working out six days a week, with two days of lifting. I'm interested to see the results, which I'll share.

So the answer is to life weight to stop this happening?

It took a lot of courage to reach out and ask for help and to post your pictures so that means you are ready to make a change. We all have ups and downs in our journey to where we want to be with our weight, just take it one day at a time. Ask your mom to help you, it's easier if everyone is committed to what you are…

Hey Steven, good idea. If it's right in front of your eyes its really good motivation. I've been travelling for two months and managed to gain 14lbs so I'm back on the diet fitness road again. Good luck.

What a great feeling it must be. Well done with all the hard work and discipline.

just be careful with the microwave popcorn, i was reading the servings per bag wrong and what I thought was 100 calories was actually 300, wondered why I didn't shift a pound that week. The pop corn is now banished.

I'm 5,5 and 140lbs. If I eat back my exercise calories I don't lose. My goal is 130.

Thanks for the great advice, means a lot to me. I'm eating around 1300 calories a day, I am hitting my protein targets as I know that's important. I get about 8 hours of sleep...lots of restless patches according to the fitbit.

Hello psulemon, yes I do use a food scale, no medical conditions and I calculate exercise calories with mfp. I only log cardio. I've only just gone back to 1200 as I've not been losing weight in 3 months. Please friend me to see my diary. Thanks for the interest, it's always good to have allies.

If I eat back my exercise calories I don't lose I only maintain.

Hmmm mixed reviews then. I've just kicked my butt recently and got back on the hardcore weight loss wagon so I'm not eating back any of my exercise calories. I'm sticking to 1200 and do six days a week alternative weight training (some heavy lifting) and cardio dance.

Congratulations, you must feel amazing. Just keep what you're doing as its brought you this much success. It's so frustrating being so close and the scales won't budge. Try cutting back a bit on what you eat for a few days and you'll see a difference. Good luck

Hey Rabbitjb, I drink 3 cups of coffee and about 7 cups of tea a day all with no fat milk. I don't feel dehydrated.

Thanks arditarose, encouragement is very important on this journey.

This is my first post on mfp, I read the responses all the time, but I want to join in for support. I'm 5'5 and currently 142 lbs. My weight has jumped around in the last five months and I've gained back 7lbs even though I exercise 6 days a week, cardio and weights. I was on 1200 for 9 months and lost 35lbs over a year and…
